In the below keyboard shortcuts, I use the capital letters for reading clarity but this does not imply shift, if shift is needed, I will say shift. So ⌘ + D does not mean hold shift. ⌘ + Shift + D does of course.
| Function | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| New Tab | ⌘ + T |
| Close Tab or Window | ⌘ + W (same as many mac apps) |
| Go to Tab | ⌘ + Number Key (ie: ⌘2 is 2nd tab) |
| Go to Split Pane by Direction | ⌘ + Option + Arrow Key |
This is no longer a bug. I'm keeping the gist for historical reasons, as it helped to get it fixed. Make sure to read the notes by the end of the post.

| Secure sessions are easy, but not very well documented. | |
| Here's a recipe for secure sessions in Node.js when NginX is used as an SSL proxy: | |
| The desired configuration for using NginX as an SSL proxy is to offload SSL processing | |
| and to put a hardened web server in front of your Node.js application, like: | |
| [NODE.JS APP] <- HTTP -> [NginX] <- HTTPS -> [PUBLIC INTERNET] <-> [CLIENT] | |
| Edit for express 4.X and >: Express no longer uses Connect as its middleware framework, it implements its own now. |
