Getting Compojure 1.3.3 to work on Clojure 1.7.0 beta 2

The Problem

Compojure 1.3.3 depends on Clout 2.1.1, which depends on the outdated Instaparse 1.3.6, which throws some very cryptic Exceptions on Clojure 1.7.0 beta 2, thereby breaking any project that depends on both Clojure 1.7.0 beta 2 and Compojure 1.3.3.
