$ brew install pcre
$ gem install passenger
$ passenger-install-nginx-module
https://www.phusionpassenger.com/download

create a deploy user and group
add deploy user and group to nginx.conf
Set web dir permissions to deploy user
Setup up self-signed SSL certificate
