Designers are responsible for the design and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with a digital tool, such as a website., among other duties. Designers will be required to understand and see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
- Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
- Collaborating with the executive team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Developing front end website CSS and HTML.
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
- Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
- Developing videos
- Developing MEMEs
- Staying abreast of design trends in DeFi and Ethereum.
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ UI/UX design experience for digital products or services. (optional)
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms and Dapps.
- Excellent knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A team player but can work independently too.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Write one (or more) article per months about UX practices in blockchain or DeFi.
- Keep files up to date over a repo.
- Diligence in team activities
- Customer service on Company channels, ie: Discord/Twitter
- Good social presence on Twitter or a other social network relevant to the industry.
- Proficiency in interacting with on-line communities, ie: DAO forum.
- Staying ahead of news in DeFi/DAOs/Ethereum.
Activities are performed mostly remotely, timezone of reference is GMT+1. You are required to be available at any time from 09:00 to 19:00 on the Discord audio channel. Additional hours might be requires at any time. The remote activities might end in favor of an on-site arrangement at any time.
- Mon, from 09:00 to 11:00 is week planning.
- Everyday at 11:00 to 11:20 is standup, to be performed on the #meeting channel on Discord (come prepared with bulletpoints), in case of being out of office, it is required to update your peers on the #standup channel
- Friday at 17:00, live stream and demo of the past week's deliverables.
- Friday at 18:00, retrospective.
- Friday at 18:30, team gaming event (optional)
