@schroef – I just stumbled over this...
#target photoshop
var fR = Math.floor(app.foregroundColor.rgb.red);
var fG = Math.floor(app.foregroundColor.rgb.green);
var fB = Math.floor(app.foregroundColor.rgb.blue);
rgbToHex(fR,fG,fB);
function rgbToHex(r, g, b) {
var theHex = "#" + ((1 << 24) + (r << 16) + (g << 8) + b).toString(16).slice(1);
alert( theHex );
}
Another option:
/* Based on - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2632707 */
#target photoshop
var RGB2HEX = foregroundColor.rgb.hexValue;
alert('#' + RGB2HEX);
@MarshySwamp
Yes thanks for that. This is a very handy collection of functions
You’re welcome, I put both to use to copy the foreground colour as hex to the clipboard here:

I thought this was a finished script, but after checking it better it seems more like a collection of function. Il got my project solved now using python with blender, that's also where I needed it for.
But since I also use Photoshop, perhaps this will be useful some day.
Thanks!
