The value of a checklist is:
- Accepting that your mental capacity is not an unlimited resource.
- Caring about what you're building so much, that you would want to make sure you don't forget a step.
- Writing it all down gives you an opportunity to problem solve.
- You can set more realistic goals for yourself and set a clearer pace.
- You can always set your reward for the day, and that makes so much more sense to set that reward at the beginning.
- I want to continue reaching out when I need help so that I don't struggle unnecessarily.
- I want to be able to plan ahead quicker.
- I want to celebrate one thing I learned every week.
- I want to improve on my programming skillset.
- I want to track things that I can recall from memory.
