Pre-Work

  1. What is your greatest strength and how do you know?

    • From what I understood from the PAIRIN test it is Imaginative-Inspirational. I think that really holds true to who I am. I know that I am very creative and my creative thinking inspires me to live my life a certain way, but always a way that I am happy with. I am proud of being a creative, friendly individual.
  2. How do you work best?

    • It really depends on who I am surrounded with. I usually get along with everybody thus then I can work great in a team, and I love working with teams too. But if I feel unsafe or uneasy I prefer to work alone. I am not afraid to work alone, I enjoy my company.
  3. What is your greatest area of improvement?

    • My biggest area of improvement would probably listening to my gut and also standing up for myself more. That is soemthing I still need to work on. Speaking up, reminding myself I have a voice. Also work on accepting my stubborness, as it is not always a negative thing. Being stubborn for what you want is essential for getting where you want to be.
  4. How do you hope to maximize your strengths for your new career in software development?

    • I hope to maximize my strengths by concentrating on those strengths that I am proud of and identify with and practice them often. Reminding myself of my strengths can be benifiting to me. I can do projects that can potentially enhance my strengths which will maximize them too. Knowing my stregths can help me choose wisely what is right for me.
  5. How might knowing about your strengths and working preferences benefit you as a software developer?

    • I will know myself and have more self awereness. When you know your strengths you know what projects best suit you, i believe. You would also know what company would suit your strengths. Or which companies can strengthen them. Which then can make you a better software developer.
