- What words or phrases stick out to you? How would you define each of your top 5 talents in your own words?
Relator - "you feel most fulfilled when you are busy and simply performing routine tasks"/"Your straightforward style may convince others you are honest, dependable, and reliable."
Realtor describes how I am cabale of interacting with a variety of situations in flexible ways. It conveys the idea that I am most happy when being productive and often enjoy having an opinion that others appreciate as well as in a teaching role.
Input - "By nature, you yearn to know a lot. I" / "Driven by your talents, you sometimes use academic sounding words to talk about your ideas or areas of expertise"
Input describes my thirst for knowledge and understanding. It referes to my desire to constantly push the boundaries of what I know and what I am capable of learning. Also suprisingly descriptive when it comes to assimilation of specific and technical vocabulary in order to more eloquently and precisely communcate ideas.
Empathy - " this approach allows you to embrace rather than resist life’s surprises, disappointments, opportunities, or successes." / " Instinctively, you may rely on your intuition rather than reason alone to handle certain types of difficult, perplexing, or distressing issues. "
Empathy describes my ability to be "go with the flow" and retain perspective in challenging situations. Though it is helpful partner to my relator strength, in and of itself it is more a description of my approach to my own life and the world around me than people specifically
Intellection - "Maybe few things please you as much as having mastered a subject that interests you."/ " passion for the written word fuels your thought processes and lays the groundwork for sophisticated conversations."
Similar to the input strength, intellection describes my propensity for collecting knowledge and being intensely curious about a variety of subject. It explains my love of reading and my joy at mastering new subjects of increasing complexity.
Analytical - "Instinctively, you periodically compare your scores, ratings, or rankings to those of others"/ "You need to know why a goal is important. You seldom act in haste."
This strength describes my tendency toward fixed-mindset but also my accountability and responsibility to not act without thought. Though it often forces me to compare myself to others in ways that may not be helpful.

How have you seen yourself using each of these talents? How often do you see yourself using these talents? I have seen myself using all of these talents on many occasion. The analytical, intellection and input strenght are all reasons why I am at Turing in the first place. I would say I employ most if not all of these on a daily basis.
-
When has it been difficult for me to be aware of this talent? Because most of these strengths are based in what would be often described as intelligence, it has been most difficult for me to be aware of them when, for whatever reason, I am feeling stupid. Despondence creeps in in times of waning success or inability to follow through on goals or projects. At those times it's hard to imagine having any of these strengths.

What talents could you develop further that would help you in your growth at Turing and in your new career as a software developer? I believe developing all the listed talents would be exceedingly helpful in my growth here at Turing and as a software developer. Relator in order to dive in and enjoy the process of building things, stay busy and engaged and be generate valid, relevant and useful opinions. Input to keep me curious and forward thinking, not resting on a base of knowledge but striving to learn more, staty current and grow as technology expands and changes. Empathy in order to be a positive force on those around me, be someone people like to work with and to maintain perspective when things are AND aren't going well. Intellection for the same reasons as Input because to me they seem very closely related.Perhaps more specifically because deceloping intellection will keep my mind elastic and ready to assimilate new ideas.
