Documentation Guidelines for Cold Outreach I Deliverable:

  • Name of contact

    • "The mentor (or alum) I contacted is Kris Foss"

  • Date of contact

    • "One month ago"

  • Outcome (i.e., did you get a response? If not, what is your follow-up plan? Did you meet? When? What was the result?)

I did! She is awesome and very willing to help! I enjoyed our first meeting together so will definitely follow up with her. We intend to meet up at least once every two weeks and once a week if possible.

  • "He and I have coffee scheduled on 3 weeks ago to discuss advice he has for current Turing student and what I can do to succeed in a none stressful way."

I feel that this relationship will be highly beneficial for both of us. She has time to brush up on a lot of concepts that she was rusty on and I'm able to pick her brain for any questions I have.
