Short (72 chars or less) summary

More detailed explanatory text. Wrap it to 72 characters. The blank
line separating the summary from the body is critical (unless you omit
the body entirely).

Write your commit message in the imperative: "Fix bug" and not "Fixed
bug" or "Fixes bug." This convention matches up with commit messages

Setting up ReactJS/Redux using Webpack for an existing Django project

This guide will help set up your django project to use ReactJS

1. Install Python dependencies

Add pip requirements to our django project:

django-webpack-loader==0.4.1 ( Connects Django project with Webpack)

Install and use pip in a local directory without root/sudo access.

Why?

Many users when are given server access, do not have root (or sudo) privileges and can not simply do sudo apt-get install python-pip . Here's an easy way you can install and use pip without root (or sudo) access in a local directory. Note : This works without easy_install too.

I created this because it was SUCH a pain in the ass setting up a project using all the latest technologies. After some research, I figured it out and have it working. The repo that implements this is located here. Feel free to use it as a boilerplate ;)

Install pgAdmin4 v2.0 with python3 on Ubuntu 16.04 DESKTOP mode

Get Python Wheel pgAdmin4

 wget https://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/pgadmin/pgadmin4/v2.0/pip/pgadmin4-2.0-py2.py3-none-any.whl

Install pip3

 sudo apt install python3-pip
```

Hopefully this will answer "How do I setup or start a Django project?" I was trying to set up my own website, and there was a lot to read, learn and digest! Therefore, I put this together which is a collection of all the guides/blog posts/articles that I found the most useful. At the end of this, you will have your barebones Django app configured and ready to start building :)

NOTE: This guide was built using Django 1.9.5, NodeJS 4+ with NPM 3+

1. Setting up your dev environment

Push the branch on github :

When you want to commit something in your branch, be sure to be in your branch.
