After checking multiple tutorials I had to take pieces from each of the following to get this to work on my Win10 system:

Basically it uses the steps from the first article, but under the background path from the second article. Neither article on its own worked for me.

Steps:

	sudo apt install -y libxtst-dev
	sudo apt install -y pkg-config
	sudo apt install -y libglib2.0-dev
	sudo apt-get install -y libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev
	sudo apt-get install -y libnotify-dev
	sudo apt-get install -y qt5-default
	sudo apt install -y qttools5-dev
	sudo apt install -y libxkbfile-dev

	sudo apt install apt-file


	apt-file search X11/extensions/XKBrules.h
