Try this one (colors from 31 to 240:
for ((i=31; i<=240; i++)); do printf "\e[1m\e[38;5;${i}m $i \e[0m"; sleep 0.1; done;
or this one (the number 7 gives backround color)
for ((i=31; i<=240; i++)); do printf "\e[1m\e[38;7;${i}m $i \e[0m"; sleep 0.1; done;
"\033" is equal with "\e" but "\033" is more widely used as i know
