5/12/24 for debian 12: this code works if:

• you inserted the correct source "deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ sid main" into "/etc/apt/sources.list" as openjdk-8-jre-headless isn't in the default channel (don't forget to call "apt update" afterwards ;))
• change all "http" into "https"
