Goals and Expectations for the Project

HAVE FUN

Austen - Create a solid roadmap to be able to work independently if need be. Solidify remote-type work. Dustin - Make a solid foundation to better work on collaborative workflows (PRs, Code Reviews, etc)

Team strengths & collaboration styles

Austen - Very verbose with PRs and detailed, which helps with remote work. Very flexible schedule. Adaptable collab style. Dustin - Very easy to bounce ideas off of. Never shoot down ideas. Stepping back and tackling bits of problems. I PREFER to work in person, but NEED to practice remote

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:

Austen - Very easy to work with, not a stickler for small stuff. Ensure understanding of code and project work before merging, etc Dustin - Breaking big problems into smaller problems to make the slow climb to success. Explaining code along the way

Schedule Expectations:

Both very flexible. Weekends - Austin after 11am. Weedays - No mornings. But ok with later nights Daily standups. Final Standup to review code before turning in.

Communication Expectations

Slack or in person preferably. During remote stretches, heads up before any PR or the like.

Abilities & Growth Expectations

Both want to grow in implementing project management and PR reviews, using GitHub Projects with ISSUES, and adhering to a PR template. IMPROVE SOFT SKILLS, develop meaningful habits, expand on git rebase

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

Ideally 50/50 workload. Very fluid and hard to answer right now

Workflow Expectations

(Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques): Really utilize GitHub Projects and Issues workflow and have meaningful PRs and code reviews

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

Daily standups and nightly goal setting is when we will give and receive feedback. Be honest even if brutal honesty.

Project management tools we will use:

GitHub Projects/Issues
