GTA3

The mouse will no longer go beyond the game window dimensions, making it possible to play the game on multi-monitor setups without problems.
DirectPlay dependency has been removed - this should improve compatibility with Windows 8 and newer.
The "Cannot find enough available video memory" error showing on some computers has been resolved.
Path to the User Files directory is now obtained using a dedicated API call rather than a legacy registry entry, future-proofing the games more.
Mouse sensitivity is now properly saved - like in the 1.1 and Steam versions.
Mission title and 'Mission Passed' texts now stay on screen for the same duration, regardless of screen resolution.

General Fixes

Fixed a million map issues (see this issue for a list)
Properly fixed issues from v1.1 (I forgot to include some files, sorry!)
Major cleanup of gta3.img, to try and prevent constant issues with the archive
The map now properly shows the new areas/roads
Fixed 100% completion rewards becoming unavailable in v1.1
Collectible rework (removed vanilla/BS/duplicate locations and streamlined hidden packages to 50 from 100)

Frontpage FAQ

Can I go offline during my frontpage slot?

Yes, you won't lose your slot. Your slot is active for a full 8 hours so you could stream 1 hour, take an hour long break, go live for 2 more, take another hour break and then go live for 3 hours and you'd be on the frontpage for all 3 of those streams as long as they fell within your window.

Can I collab with friends during my frontpage slot?

You're allowed to collab on the front page, including via Stream Together! Just make sure that anyone you're streaming with is aware of the frontpage guidelines.

ViceCity Next Gen Patch 1.3

Note - This patch isn't a complete fix for everything. Many bugs still exist, but we've done our best given the fact that some of this code is beyond saving. Hopefully the Complete Edition team get their version out to fix all of this and much more :)

Installation

Make sure you have VCNE already installed and Patch v1.2 already installed, and then drag our files on top.

If you have any save files, you will need to delete them or the game will crash on launch. You can delete them by going to Documents\Rockstar Games and deleting the VC1.2 folder.
