Free Paste（以下简称"本应用"）是一款运行在你自己电脑上的剪贴板历史工具。我们非常重视你的隐私，本应用的设计原则是：你的剪贴板数据只留在你自己的设备上，我们（开发者）拿不到，也不会上传到任何服务器。
本应用不会收集、上传或向开发者传输任何数据。本应用没有账号系统，不包含任何分析（Analytics）、崩溃上报或广告 SDK，也不会联网上传任何内容。
- 剪贴板历史：当你复制文本、链接、文件或图片时，本应用会自动记录下来，方便你稍后从悬浮窗口中找回并粘贴。这些记录只保存在你电脑本地的文件夹中（默认是"文档\FreePaste\history"，你可以在设置里修改）。
- 应用设置：热键、主题、保留天数等偏好设置保存在本机的一个 JSON 文件里。
- 以上数据全部只存在于你自己的电脑上，开发者没有任何途径访问。你可以随时在设置里清空历史、删除单条记录，或调整保留时长；卸载应用不会自动删除历史文件夹，如需彻底清除请手动删除该文件夹。
这是一个可选功能，默认关闭，需要你主动点击才会启用。开启后，本应用会在你电脑上启动一个仅限局域网内访问的小型网页服务，生成一个带访问口令（token）的链接和二维码，方便你用手机等其他设备在同一 Wi-Fi 下临时查看最近复制的内容。
- 该服务不会暴露在公网上，也不会经过任何第三方服务器中转。
- 只有拿到链接和口令的人才能访问；你可以随时重新生成口令或直接关闭该功能来切断访问。
本应用需要以下 Windows 权限来实现核心功能，均只用于本机操作，不涉及数据外传：
- 读取剪贴板变化，用于记录历史。
- 注册全局热键，用于呼出/隐藏悬浮窗口。
- 开机自启动（可在设置中关闭）。
- 模拟粘贴按键（Ctrl+V），用于"自动粘贴"功能，把选中的历史项粘贴回你之前使用的程序。
本应用不面向 13 周岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集其个人信息。
如果本应用未来加入需要联网或收集数据的新功能，我们会更新本页面并说明变化。

Free Paste ("the app") is a clipboard-history utility that runs entirely on your own PC. Our guiding principle: your clipboard data stays on your device. The developer cannot see it and it is never uploaded anywhere.
The app collects, uploads, or transmits no data to the developer. There is no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs. The app does not phone home.
- Clipboard history: when you copy text, a link, files, or an image, the app records it locally so you can find and re-paste it later from the overlay window. This history is stored only in a folder on your own computer (by default
Documents\FreePaste\history, configurable in Settings). - App settings: your hot key, theme, and retention preferences are stored in a local JSON file.
- All of the above lives only on your machine; the developer has no way to access it. You can clear history, delete individual items, or change the retention period at any time from Settings. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete the history folder — delete it manually if you want it fully removed.
This is an optional feature, off by default, that you must explicitly turn on. When enabled, the app starts a small web server reachable only on your local network, and generates a link and QR code protected by an access token, so you can briefly view your recent clipboard items from another device (e.g. your phone) on the same Wi-Fi.
- This server is never exposed to the public internet and never relayed through any third-party server.
- Only someone with the link and token can access it; you can regenerate the token or turn the feature off at any time to cut off access.
The app requests the following Windows permissions to power its core features, all used strictly on-device:
- Reading clipboard changes, to build the history.
- Registering a global hot key, to show/hide the overlay window.
- Launching at startup (can be disabled in Settings).
- Simulating a paste keystroke (Ctrl+V), for the "auto-paste" feature that pastes a selected history item back into your previous application.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If a future version of the app adds a feature that requires network access or data collection, this page will be updated to reflect that.
