I hereby distribute the following Proposal, "Auction Ends" and amend it
to read:

       Auctions end at the end of the auction.

Rule 869/41 (Power=4)
Auction Notices

      A player CAN publish an auction Notice of Honor,
      which allows players to bid and place bids in an auction.  The
      auction is held at the end of the auction, and the auction ends when
      all bids are cleared.  The notice of honor is
      part of the auction's ceremony.  The Herald SHALL publish the
      notice of honor when the auction is ended.

      A player CAN publish a notice of auction termination.  The
      announcement of this type is self-ratifying.  When a
      announcement of this type is made, the Auction ends.

      A player CAN publish a notice of auction termination.  The
      announcement of this type is self-ratifying.  When a
      announcement of this type is made, the auction ends.

      A player CAN publish a notice of cancellation of an auction.

      A player CAN cancel an auction without 3 objections, and without
      3 objections to any other kind.  Cancelling an auction is
      secured.

      A player CAN destroy an auction by announcement.  The Herald SHALL
      coordinate the removal of all bids and the auction's
      reopening.  The Herald SHALL then announce the auctions'
      winners.  The Herald SHALL also announce the total bid
      and the amount of the winning bid.
