The bloodstained same-type-shuffle rando can be roughly broken into 7 chunks:
- left side (road to craftwork)
- upstairs (gebel)
- right side (tower, library)
- train (choo chooooo)
- downstairs (caverns, desert, inferno)
- oriental (pls no)
- end (giant, ice)
The flow of a run is roughly like this:

early game
- do the left side starter loop to craftwork
- farm purples for Dimension Shift (DS) and damage (aqua, tiz, rood...)
- pick up key items and whites along the way for movement + zangetsuo
- go to town
- check crafting/shop/quests
- on first visit, buy and plant a rice seed -- rice + hallite unlocks cheap 99 riceballs in shop
- on last visit, sell crafting stuff and junk
- buy as much hp/mp healing as you can for survivability and damage
- do the left side starter loop to craftwork

midgame (very maleable, do what you like)
- if you can go upstairs, do it
- several key item checks are on the way, often zangetsuo
- once you have zangetsuo, beat gebel
- if you can't, go right side
- tower has purples + keys
- library has movement + books
- or go train to hunt for DS

The following ""checklist"" uses the above chunking, and presents things in roughly chronological order. Your main focus is ๐purples and ๐๏ธkeys to beat the game.
๐Blues are usually just trying to spike accelerator. Everyone seems to agree to go for craftwork since it's on the path, gives levels + loot, and could technically be a required vanilla craftwork shard to go right side. The two right side blues are popular farms. Yellows are similarly nice to spike but not worth farming for.
๐คWhites are trying to get a form of flight for upstairs and endgame. Technically completely skippable with early dimension shift, although having more jumps is always good.
Along the way random checks for gear are worthwhile, especially to spike busted accessories like gebel glasses. Don't worry about learning all the locations early, that will come with experience.
The checklist has two columns. On the left is what you'd usually be going for on your first visit (if you're doing that type of check still). On the right is stuff that is technically there but isn't the focus, because it's slow (revenant) or other places are better farms (why farm blood grinder knight in garden when it's faster in entrance).
