I found something similar but wrapped into the package
That project seems a lot more focused on this than my implementation. This was more as a learning resource just for reference of a trimmed idea of how you could create an http api based emacs package.
I took Gavin's work and added a few things. There is the beginnings of a package that I named ChatGptInv (for Emacs invoker).
It is at bx-blee/chatGptInv.
These are the things that I added:
- The end result text from ChatGPT is now subjected to a fill-region. It used to be long lines.
- There is an installable menu for the commands
- There is an attempt at packaging it. But, I have not tested it.
I view all of this as interim and stop gap. There are other packages being developed that will/should replace this.
I tried to modify your code to communicate with ChatGPT with CJK characters, but got some problems. I am still working on it. Do you have any suggestions for this?
