Use Dynamic DNS (DDNS) with Infomaniak on UDM or UCG

  • Create a new host entry in Infomaniak with IP 10.0.0.0 (it's easier to see if the update worked)
  • Go to UniFi Network -> Setting -> Internet -> Choose primary -> Advanced Manual -> Dynamic DNS
  • Add a new entry with hostname, username, password, server url (without https://, check below, service anything but not custom)
  • Save settings
  • Go back to Infomaniak and check IP of your updated hostname (this may take 15 seconds or more)

Tested on

  • Cloud Gatewaay Ultra 3.2.18 with network 8.2.93
  • Cloud Gatewaay Ultra 4.0.6 with network 8.2.93
  • Dream Machine Pro SE 4.0.6 with network 8.2.93
