All right, so I don't think that, you know, I remember covering, I covered Neopets in an earlier recording, but I don't, you know, the thing is, right, is that I, you know, the account I gave was not nearly detailed enough,
Considering how into the game I was I think I think I went on about for something like 30 minutes There's a lot more than 30 minutes of content there.
So what we are going to do Is we're going to go on to jelly neo Which I remember using back in the day.
We're gonna go on a jelly neo and we're just gonna like look at You know Things like in fact literally is there a random button here
Is there a random button?
Random page?
Like, one would imagine there is because it's, you know, wow, wow.
This sure is some web design.
Wow.
This is some web design right here.
Oh God, there's so much here.
Ooh, where does one start?
Right, I was looking for the random button.
Is there a random button?
Hold on.
Okay.
I don't see one.
Which is unfortunate in that... Hmm.
Oh, here we go.
We have an articles tab.
Oh, we have an I hate NFTs tab.
That's fun.
Avoid within plot.
All right.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Mhm.
All right.
Sure.
Whatever.
Right.
It's so, um, sorry.
Just looking at that.
Like, Oh yeah.
Okay.
Hmm.
Anyway, none of this is what I'm looking for.
Let's just go to... I mean, I guess we can just look at all articles or something.
Let's just take a look here.
What do we got here?
So, one of the problems, right, is that I played this game in 2006, and the game has received updates through, like, 2020.
So, it's a little bit like looking at, like, 07scape or something.
Like, if I were to go to the RuneScape wiki for the current RuneScape game, there'd be a ton of content I don't know anything about.
On the other hand, a lot of this looks pretty damn familiar, so.
All right.
Oh, okay.
So we have 2008.
I don't remember this very well, which tells me that we probably do not... Man.
Okay, so.
Okay, so here's the thing I do.
I do remember the Altador mini plot, right?
And so what I specifically remember is the astronomer.
I believe he's the astronomer, right?
Good to have you in our club.
Oh yes, okay, the astronomy club, it's coming back to me, yeah.
Mm-hmm.
It's your very own telescope.
Learn to search ever-increasing cosmological anomalies and you can emulate and identify constellations Uh-huh.
Oh Yes, I remember this
Mm-hmm So the problem of course is that I as so first of all, this is nice So one of the reasons why I love these old game what wikis and stuff for like MMOs and things like this is that they give exact dates and So this is 2006
You know, this is 2006 and you have like, so this is in March 28th, 2006.
Alrighty, I have, now the problem was in 2006, I would have been 10 years old.
And at, I'll be honest, at age 10, I simply did not know what, I didn't get it.
I didn't know what to do.
So I can't say I got very deep into this, but I did like, I do remember screwing around with it and I believe I managed to get the cudgel.
Like maybe I followed, I think I'm, I think what I probably did was I probably followed a guide.
Like there's no way I figured this out.
Like I followed a guide, like anything I got out of this, I followed a guide and
And so that's kind of like, I don't know, maybe this is a... Yeah, and I know, not a lot of content there.
I remember playing this, right?
But that's kind of all I remember.
Like I don't, I do not remember this in particularly deep detail.
Okay.
All right, we can go back.
All articles.
So.
Altador mini plot.
Atlas of the Ancients.
I don't remember this.
2009.
Yeah, that's past my time.
So we have that.
Hannah and the Ice Caves.
What's going on here?
Can I get a date here, guys?
Can you help me out?
Like, for real, can you guys help me out?
This page was last updated on January 17th, 2017.
That sounds like a thing I would not have anything to do with.
Okay, help me out.
Flash.
Oh, come on.
Come on, guys.
Help me out.
Give me a date.
I just need a date, you know?
Her style looks pretty, I don't know.
This page was last updated on September 26, 2008.
Okay, now we're starting to get somewhere.
Ooh, September 26, 2008.
So that would have been around that time.
I, in any case, did not participate in this.
How about games?
All right.
Let's look at, so Neopets games, which Neopets games did I play?
Did I play Plushie Tycoon?
You bet I did.
I mean, in general, if it was a Neopets game, you can assume I probably played it at least once.
Alrighty.
Okay.
Oh, yes, the pet, yeah, yes, the plushy game where you gotta build the, mm-hmm.
Now, again, this is another one where most of what I, here's what I remember about this game.
I remember it being hard, and I remember it being boring, and so I remember not playing that much of it.
um did i get the avatar i don't remember i would have certainly i would have probably tried to because i was very into collecting the avatars actually okay we can talk about avatars so one thing that the neopets okay so one thing neopets had going for it was its boards right and the boards i think i've talked about this before but just to give a brief recap
The Neopets boards were kinda like 4Chan, but without the 4Chan, if that makes sense.
I did talk about this.
I said that these are my first introduction to internet culture, and I stand by that.
That's basically what they were.
And they had that 4Chan vibe, not in the sense that people would like, you know, like you couldn't upload images, which limited the toxicity a bit.
But like, okay, here's the deal.
They had a very short character count,
And they had a fairly short like Fred post limit.
Like you could only make, I forget the exact numbers.
I looked it up at one point, but you know, it was something like, you know, I have the numbers in another thing.
I'll go look them up at some point.
But the point being is that in terms of vibe, in terms of feel, you know, you basically got to post like a tweet.
And after I think it was 400,
I think it was like 20 pages with 20 posts each, so after 400 tweets in a thread, your thread's gone.
And remember, these are like tweets, and so that doesn't have to be that long a time.
You know, you can go through a thread pretty quickly.
And I'm not even, I'm not even, those aren't even the right numbers.
But so one thing, now, crucially, Neopets, of course, made a pivot at one point where they went from, you know, so the game was originally made for college students because the author was a bored college student who wanted to make a thing for other bored college students.
Now, having been to college, now, when I was a kid, I accepted this story at face value.
And it's not that I doubt or anything, it's just that,
As someone, let me put it this way, as someone who has been to college, not particularly fancy college, but like that just makes the point even, you know, that only accentuates the point.
The idea of coding this because I'm in college and I'm bored and for like ever bored college students is like almost sacrilegious.
Like, I just have trouble imagining, I guess when this, I mean, when was Neopets made?
I mean, Neopets is old, right?
Like, I mean, obviously, but like, when exactly was it made?
Because it's different between, first launch in 1999, okay.
1999 must have been a pretty boring time, man, because like, uh, you know, I went to college in what, like 2017?
And I'll be honest, 2017 was... hmm.
I mean, it's not like I had no free time.
I had plenty of like free time.
It's just like, you know, I wasn't spending it on, you know, I wasn't spending on anything so frivolous as Neopets for the most part, I don't think.
Maybe my memory is failing me, but you know, basically the idea of coding this thing in particular with like this cutesy aesthetic and like expecting other college students to play it is like just wild to me.
I'm not surprised that eventually it became a game for children because they realize like, oh, it has really good aesthetics for children and children really like it.
And so they're like, oh yeah, sure.
And I think I've talked before about how this came with some really funny, really absurd censorship.
It used to be that there was a wine and then they changed it to sparkling cider or something.
It used to be that you could buy the pet a bottle of wine and then they changed it because it would be too much to let the pet drink alcohol.
Thankfully, in RuneScape, they don't give a shit.
And so like in RuneScape, your character can just like grab a beer, grab wine, various kinds of liquor, drink it, absolutely.
Oh, you're in the barbarian pub, you wanna grab a beer?
Yeah, it's right there, it's the barbarian camp, of course there's beer.
Why wouldn't your character drink?
Anyway, very, sorry, I always thought that was a really absurd bit of censorship when I learned about it.
But, so, this in mind.
Ugh, avatars.
So one of the ways that they would,
because here's the deal right you have a you have a you have a game where there's a board there's forums right so when i say neopets boards these are forums sorry um that you know they're like messaging boards and so god remember when sometimes they would call a forum a messaging board man pepperidge farm remembers
Anyway, so the Neopets boards have this very peculiar thing where on a normal vBulletin board, oh God, oh yeah, they even called the software vBulletin board, wow.
Anyway, BBSs.
So here's the deal, on a vBulletin forum, everyone has their weird quirky little profile picture that they upload, right?
That doesn't work for Neopets because guess what?
It has a huge player base.
and a ton of those players are literally children.
And so if someone uploads something bad as their profile picture and other people see it, it would be a huge problem for them.
And so how Neopets solves this problem is they have a pre-made set of avatars, which are basically like profile pictures and GIFs that are Neopets-themed that you can use.
and then you can unlock different ones by doing things in the game.
And so this is, and this is great because it both, so it's, first of all, it solves the problem.
It gives people different ways to, you know, it lets people, you know, because there's enough of these that like, you know, there's enough of these that you can find one you like and use it, right?
You're not going to look like everyone else on the forum, which is useful.
On the other hand, it also has the advantage that it is a status symbol.
So, you know, there are like avatars that you unlock by having a really expensive item in your inventory or whatever.
Guess what?
If you have that, that's a status symbol.
There are ones where you have, you know, there's all kinds of things like this, right?
And so, you know, there's avatars for getting a high score in a game.
And all kinds of things of this nature.
All sorts of them.
And because of that, this makes them very, how do I put this?
You know, as a kid playing the game, I liked using the boards.
And there's actually a funny story here where the first time I signed up, I like, told them my actual age, and so I wasn't allowed to be on the boards, because I'm not 12, because I'm not like, 13 yet in COPPA.
And so I was like, hey mom, can you send in the thing?
And I believe, I believe I got my parents to actually send the opt-in form one time.
And then the next time I had an account, or the next time I had to make an account or an alt or whatever, I, you know what I did?
I lied about my age, because duh.
Learned my lesson, okay.
God, did my parents ever even send the opt-in form or did I just like, I'm trying to remember now, did they ever even send her or did I just make another account?
I don't even remember.
I think they may have actually sent it the one time.
I think I may have actually gotten my mom to fill it out.
Incredible.
Yeah.
Wowza.
I was probably one of the only kids who ever got their parents to actually fill that thing out.
I mean, here's the deal, right?
This is such a fragile, vague memory.
Like, I could be confabulating right now.
I don't even fully remember that this happened.
I just remember running into it and asking my parents.
Did my parents actually do it?
Maybe.
I don't remember.
They likely did.
I mean, it's difficult to remember now.
It could go either way.
Like, if you were to ask me to put money on it, I would give my mother actually did it, like, you know, greater than 50%, but not that much greater.
Like, definitely no more than 70%.
So, you know, okay.
Anyway, so I really like the Neopets boards, because remember, these are my introduction to internet culture.
And guess what?
On the Neopets boards, the avatar, you know, I would use the avatar chat, because there were different boards you could use.
And so, you know, there was Battledome chat, which I didn't have a Battledome pet.
So using Battledome chat would be like weird.
There was like the roleplay board, which I was like a 10 year old.
That's for dorks.
There was like the writer's board, which, again, I'm 10 years old, that's for dorks.
Like, okay, nerd.
You know, I'm 9, 10.
And there were like all these other boards too, but the one I used the most often was Avatar Chat.
Why?
I don't know.
I like the vibe.
I also liked avatars and I liked, you know, like basically it's status symbol chat, right?
Yeah, sure.
I'll do status symbol chat.
Especially because here's the thing, right?
Avatar chat didn't really have much to do besides show off your status symbols.
And so this meant that people would just be talking for the sake of talking.
And that was great because I was a child with nothing better to do.
And so I did a lot of talking, right?
But, so, because I'm using avatar chat so much, and I'm not saying like I exclusively used avatar chat.
Like, you know, I would also dip into like Battle Dome chat.
I would dip into the other ones.
But like, it was mostly avatar chat to my recollection.
And so I was very interested in these avatars, obviously.
You know, why am I telling this whole story?
Because this story is part of my memories, and my memories involve, like, me going out of my way to get these avatars because I wanted to use them, right?
And so, you know, it's not like I ever thought, like here's the thing, even back then, I was well aware that I would never 100% the avatars because there were avatars that relied on you doing things that were straight up discontinued.
Like it literally was not possible even back then to do it.
So I was under no illusions.
But some of them I thought were really cool and I'd like to have them.
And so I would mostly go, you know, I didn't know how to like restock or, sorry.
Okay, lingo time.
Restocking would be when you would buy, I says, okay, now we have to.
Okay.
All right.
Yes.
Yes.
So, here's how restocking works.
Restocking works by
How do you put this?
Okay, so first of all, there are valuable items in the game.
Now, this shouldn't sound like that crazy.
Now, some of them you get from, like, you know, redeeming, like, in real life trading card game codes.
Some of them you get through these things.
And then some of them you get through what's called restocking.
And so what restocking is, is that there are in-game stores
And the stores have a limited inventory.
So for example, something spawns in the store, you buy it, it's gone.
And the stores would refresh their inventory every however many minutes.
And it would be on a slight delay, I think, to make it a little harder to figure out.
There would be some randomness to it so you didn't just buy everything.
So it was slightly harder to bought, I guess.
But so, the way restocking worked was you, and of course, like, you know, botting this is like against the rules, but like tons of people did it because it was just so easy and truthfully, you know, because this is an HTML game, it's not even like a Flash game or something or a Java game like RuneScape.
You know, because this is literally done over like the HTTP protocol,
It was very difficult to stop people from, like, you know, it's very difficult to reliably stop, like, you could just use a headless browser, you know, with, like, some scripting, like, it was just simply not that difficult to automate this.
And, like, it would be very difficult to detect the automation, if you were even, like, slightly clever about it.
And so as a result of this, and you know, this was like before you had like all the JavaScript JS tracking and stuff, like, you know, this was like some, this was old school, right?
We're talking, and we're talking again, like 2005, like this, no.
And so as a result of that, you had, how does one put this?
How does one put this?
Oof, you had a...
You know, there were people who would, let me just finish.
So some of the items that the stores would spawn are very valuable.
And if you were the lucky person who grabbed one, you would suddenly make a lot of money, because you could resell it.
You could restock it.
You could sell it in your own store for a bunch of money.
Or if it was really, if it was a really good item, you could sell it on like the trading post, which was for like,
really big ticket items, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
So, with that in mind, how do you make money in Neopets?
Restocking.
Yes, you make money.
How do you make money in that game?
You go and make a lot of money?
Restocking.
You restock things.
That's the main money maker.
However, I was a kid, and importantly, I was a kid with dial-up.
I had no chance as a restocker.
So what I would do is simple.
Sorry, I was a kid with dial-up and I did not have an automated script to do it for me.
And so what I would do is I played flash games, which was like the stupid person way to make money in Neopets.
But guess what?
I did it.
And I would do dailies where you would click like, you know, there were like some, there were like different things you could go around on the site and do that would give you like, you know, some like Neo points.
And so I would do them every day.
Like a chump.
But, but, so, so, so, so, so, so crucially though, these, ugh.
Point being, I did not have the, so sorry, to get back to the point, I didn't have the money to go Avatar.
I didn't have the money to like get any of the like really expensive items so I could have the Avatar for it.
And truthfully, I knew damn well I never would have the money.
And so I never really set my sights on like, oh, I'm gonna have, you know, I'm gonna get the one where you have, you need 400 million gold pieces to get the item.
Sorry, 400 million Neo points to get the item.
I don't, I don't know anything, like, no, right?
Like, I know better.
I know that's not, I know that is not in my capacity.
However, I would often try and go for the Flash game avatars, right?
And so, yeah.
Let's go ahead and look at the avatar solutions.
Latest avatars, so we can, oh, okay.
Where's the,
Oh gosh.
Oh, there's an avatar checklist tool.
Visit the setting page.
Oh, that's so funny.
No, I don't have that.
Cute.
Search through my keyword.
I mean, I just, I just want like,
Oh gosh, this is gonna be a long, this is gonna be a long thing, so let's... Alright, so I guess the best thing I can do here is just go into one of these lists and just, let's just start at one of the lists.
So, alright.
So we don't want newest, because I don't know anything about newest.
Let's go with retired.
There are 76 retired avatars.
So let's see here.
That wasn't released yet.
Not released yet.
These are all new and also, so let's go down here.
All right, so better than you.
Oh yes, better than you.
Mm-hmm.
I remember this.
So the way this worked to my memory, which is all that really matters here, was that every day they would, maybe not every day, let's see here.
It was, no.
No?
Okay, it doesn't matter.
Basically, like, how it would work, I don't remember the exact schedule, I believe it was every day, but every day they would post a score for you to beat in a game.
In one of the Flash games.
And here's the thing.
These were high scores.
They were not easy to beat, at least not legitimately.
And so, I don't remember ever getting this.
Maybe I did, I don't know.
I remember, here's the thing, I remember trying to get it.
I remember trying to get it and getting very frustrated because the games that you need, the games that they wanted these scores on were pretty tough.
And they would want it past a certain point.
It was like, ah!
Better than you.
Is there an article for this?
No?
Okay, that's fine.
But that was the basic setup, right?
It was, you know, this, here's the game, here's the score, beat the score, you get the avatar.
Did I do it?
I don't remember.
I might've.
If I did, if I did, it would've been by, like, it would've either been by getting lucky or by waiting for them to do a game that I happen to be very good at.
I might've gotten it at some point.
Free Judea, definitely not.
Hemerjeet, Merulodon, Volcano Fairy, I Save Mystery Island.
Yeah, no, none of those.
TCG Wizard, absolutely not.
Miradel Knight, Daragon, Darkling, absolutely not.
Bilge Dice.
You know?
I might've, I might've had, I might've had this.
I mean, it's difficult to say.
Oh, oh, oh, interesting.
So there's like, yeah, there's the Bilge Dice ones.
I think I might've had these, like, here's the, the prom, right?
It's difficult for me to like.
Yeah, it's difficult for me to figure out like which things I did and didn't have.
So there's like memories.
Do I remember the Bilge Dice game?
Very vaguely.
Might I have had this avatar?
I might've.
I definitely, here's the thing.
I definitely remember the avatar, right?
Like I remember the avatar.
Lenny's Conundrum.
Prior to its retirement, he had to be one of the first 250 people to solve the Lenny Conundrum when it was released.
I remember going for this, or at least I think I do.
Like, did I get it?
Again, it's difficult to remember.
Again, and I also, I remember the avatar, right?
Like, I remember these avatars.
Did I get it though?
I don't know.
Hmm.
The Lenny Conundrum is no longer an active contest.
Prior to its retirement, you had to be one of the first 250 people who saw The Lenny Conundrum when it was released.
I definitely remember trying for it.
And I have this very, very vague memory of managing to do it and being very happy.
But that could just be a confabulation.
You know, we're dipping back to very fragile memories here.
I just remember going for it.
Which, you know, it's very interesting, right?
I think it says a lot about my memories that the things I remember clearly are going for it, not necessarily getting it.
Now, is that because I didn't get it?
Or is that because going for it was a higher stress moment than getting it, and so it didn't get pruned?
I very vaguely remember managing to squeeze in
the Lenny conundrum and like, I have this very, very vague and like, I feel like I'm confabulating, but maybe I'm not.
I have a very vague memory that I did in fact manage to do this one day.
I mean, let me, let me check.
Like, like there is a guide.
Every, so it was once a week.
Hmm.
no i didn't i didn't get i didn't get this that's a confabulation i i didn't get this no way no tcg want to play um i never had this daragon redeemed no bfm smith squish spiders no invasion of miradel mohawk wow um
Okay, Invasion of Myrida.
You know what, I do remember playing this.
I do remember playing this and... I remember going for this at least.
Did I get it?
I don't know, but I do remember, I remember going, I remember playing it.
I don't remember playing it very well, but I remember this game board here with the mohawk, the dragon guy, the lizard, the scorchio I think he's called, and the grundo with the little hat.
I remember this.
I remember this grid, and I don't remember a lot else.
It says that this game is very difficult, and I can believe that.
Like I vaguely, very vaguely remember that in fact being the case.
In any case, did I get the avatar?
I might've, I might've.
Plushie Nova, awarded for visiting the McDonald's daily, daily giveaway on May 31st, 2004 or September 29th, 2005.
I think I might have gotten this one because September, I'm pretty sure I played the game on September 29th, 2005 and I played it every day when I played it.
So it's entirely possible.
All right.
It's entirely possible.
It's entirely possible to me that it,
It is entirely possible to me that I did in fact get this avatar.
Funny enough, if I still had an account and I use this avatar now, it would be like mega rare, you know?
Like this must be an absurdly rare avatar now.
Because it says here you got for visiting the McDonald's daily giveaway on May 31st, 2004 or September 29th, 2005.
That's pretty specific.
Like Cocoa Roll definitely didn't have that.
TCG return Dr. Sloth, absolutely not.
Win the random contest, I'm pretty sure I never had this.
Ooh, Tooth Fairy, a worthy random event.
I think I had this one.
Curse of Markaya, Curse of Maracua.
I don't think I had this.
I mean, maybe, I don't,
Maybe, like, like, I mean, I, the, the, the, the Moroccan supporter one looks familiar.
So maybe, maybe.
The lost desert plot.
Let's see here.
Oh yeah.
The lost desert plot.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
Okay.
I remember, I remember this.
Did I finish it though?
I Sincerely doubt it.
I don't I don't think so Altador cup staff tourney.
I know Hope in the know your tale of woe crawly.
I
Mm-hmm Games master was awarded for completing 15 daily dares and collecting your prizes in the 2007 daily dare or challenging and beating him at least 15 times during 2018 2019 daily dares I vaguely remember this avatar, but You know, I vaguely remember it But I Don't know if I ever had it
10th Birthday Guide.
Award to users who visited the 10th Birthday Celebration page and collected the prize on November 15, 2009.
Probably not.
Yeah, no, I don't think I ever had the Game Master.
I don't think I ever had this.
Okay, so everything past this seems to be like...
Oh, interesting.
Awarded to users of the Battle Dome for having at least one win in the old Battle Dome.
Battle Dome veteran.
Didn't have it while I played.
Yeah, okay.
What?
Interesting.
Yeah, all the rest of these are like very new and therefore, um, Oh, weird.
Alrighty.
Oh, there's the default avatars.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, okay.
So, Lutari.
This avatar is available by default to all users.
I remember having a Lutari, and I remember having one on day one, which means that I was probably playing the game on April 19th, you know, which means that I was presumably playing the game on April 19th, 2006.
Just a useful bit of information there.
Uh, Christmas lock.
Lumpy.
Oh, oh yeah, these are all default avatars.
You don't have to do anything to get these.
Still, like, all right.
And I remember the ex-WeTalk avatar too, which means that I was probably still playing the game on November 30th, 2006, but who's to say?
That seems plausible enough.
Mohawk, Shia.
Okay.
So okay, one thing that stands out to me is if we look at the dates here, all of these back here have the same date of August 5, 2003, which tells me that that's probably when the Neopets boards released.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
August 5, 2003.
I was not playing at that time.
Don't think so.
Annually available, all right.
None of these are relevant.
Down, down, down, down, down, down, down.
Happy birthday!
You know what?
You know what?
I do, I remember having the Happy Birthday Avatar.
And Happy Birthday Avatar was released on November 15th, 2005, which tells me, well let's see here.
Visit new features on November 15th.
The avatar is also obtainable from the 2019 Charity Corner perk in a new avatar.
I see.
Visit new features on November 15th.
Okay, well, I vaguely remember having this, which tells me that it is quite likely that, you know, it seems quite likely that I had this, and I even have a very vague memory of using it briefly, maybe, I don't know, but in any case,
I mean, again, these are very vague memories.
I'm probably confabulating all over the place here.
But, but, if that's true, it would mean that I was either playing the game on November 15th, 2005, or that I was playing the game on November 15th, 2006.
Neopian Times writer slash guide.
As of July 2021, prior to issue 941 and since issue 200, you had to be published in a 50th or 100th edition.
I see.
Released, yeah, I never had this avatar, but I remember the avatar and I still think it looks pretty good.
So that's something.
Plastic fur guy collect from the event calendar on December 1st.
Yeah, I had this one.
Easter Sci-Bunny.
Send this Neogreen on April 8th, 9th, or 10th.
Almost certainly have this.
Kwigiki April Fool's Avatar.
Refresh the news page on April 4th after the April Fool's prank has been taken down.
I likely have this.
Like, this sounds like something I would have.
Send this Neogreen on February 13th or February 14th.
Uh, hold on.
Oh, I don't have, yeah, I probably had this, you know.
Complete the quiz at Sloss Mind Control Laboratory on January 14th.
Correct answer is C, D, B, C, A. Okay, I definitely have the seasonal, I definitely remember having the seasonal attack P. Yeah, all right, I'm pretty, I remember using this, I think.
I think I have, I think I use this one.
Did I have I Heart Sloth?
Maybe, I don't remember.
I was pretty into collecting these, so I wouldn't be surprised if I did, but I don't have any memories associated with it besides, I vaguely remember the avatar.
But I do remember using the seasonal attack P, so I'm pretty sure I had that avatar.
Okay.
Defaults, annually available, retired, unreleased, other.
This should be good.
These are all new.
Let's scroll down.
Edna Cackle.
I might have had this.
Pick a topic and post squawk.
What?
Go to the Neo boards, pick a topic and post squawk without the quotation marks.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I had that.
Sloth.
Worthy of a random event.
I think I had that.
Avatar Collector.
Be ranked in the top 50 for avatar collectors at the time that trophies are given out daily.
This is usually easiest on the first day of the month before the top collectors reset their avatar count.
You can reset your avatar count by gaining a new avatar.
It is easiest to do this by losing and then regaining the Imo Yusuke avatar.
Oh, I see.
That's funny.
Um, I doubt I ever had this.
I love my rock guide.
I probably had that.
Buzz and guide.
Probably had.
Like these, these are all avatars that you get for listening to a concert at a Deuterian concert hall.
I probably had, oh wait, sorry.
Buzz and guide.
Complete a quest for the fountain fairy and paint your buzz any color at the rainbow fountain.
Maybe.
Maybe?
Like, difficult.
Maybe.
Groovy Chomby slash guide.
See a Chomby in the Fungus Balls concert and visit, yeah.
Yeah, I almost certainly have this.
Starting from caption contest number 1400, this avatar is awarded to, yeah, I sincerely doubt I ever had this.
I do remember participating in the, uh,
I do remember, sorry, I do remember participating in the caption contest, I was never chosen.
Because I suck, or whatever, like 10 year old me sucked.
I'm sure now I could probably win, but like, you know, not back then.
I was a child, okay.
Termaculus.
Get your pet pet eaten by Termaculus.
I don't remember this one.
I don't, I don't remember having this, so like probably not.
Maybe.
Who knows?
Lately it's difficult to remember.
Pwned by the lab.
Get your pet species changed via the lab ray.
I always wanted the lab ray, but I don't think I ever actually had it.
I always wanted it.
I fantasized about it a lot.
I don't think I ever had it though.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that I never had the Labre.
Or maybe I did.
Maybe I did actually get it, and then I learned that I didn't actually want it, that the Labre was more trouble than it was worth.
But I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure I never actually had it.
But I don't know.
It was either that I never had it or that once I got it, I realized I didn't really want it.
But like, I'm pretty sure I just never had it.
Yeah.
I do remember having a mutant Neopet though, which I believe I got with like the mutant Neopet potion.
I believe that's how that worked.
Yeah, all right.
Neomail addict.
Randomly award when sending a random Neomail or reviewing your inbox.
I think I have that one.
I don't know.
Neopian Time Star.
Nope.
Go to the Island Mystic and receive a fortune with the occurred Kiris in it.
Maybe.
I might have.
Maybe.
Snowager Roar.
Randomly getting blasted by the Snowager.
Um, maybe?
Cap'n Freelegs.
Complete a course at the Academy.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I had this one.
Uh, Tale of the Snow Fairy.
I remember the avatar, don't know if I ever really, like, yeah.
Random when having 100 MP stolen by the Lever of Doom.
I think I had this.
Uh, I think I had that one.
I Heart Happiness.
Have your avatar set to the I Heart Sloth avatar and visit this page.
Well, I vaguely remember having this avatar, which would imply that I had the I Heart Sloth avatar.
But I could be wrong.
I'll name it this way.
I certainly remember this avatar.
And I could be confabulating the part where I had it.
But like, I don't know.
Like, maybe I did.
Maybe I did, maybe I didn't.
It's difficult sometimes.
Like, you know, it's not that I have exact recall over all the avatars I did and did not have.
It's just more like,
You know, I am in no small part, like partially this is just a useful index over things that I did, right?
Speaking of which, premium space fairy.
All right.
Hmm.
I'm going to be honest, the premium space fairy avatar is probably one of the most memorable avatars of the whole set on Neopets for me.
I don't know why.
There's just, there's just something about her smile.
Like it's so, it's like, it's, it's, I mean, looking at it now, it's nothing that special, but like,
I don't know, at the time, to child me, she just has a very mysterious smile.
Kind of like the Mona Lisa, but obviously a lot lower status than the Mona Lisa.
Let me put it this way.
She has like a mysterious smile and the whole vibe of the avatar is very ethereal.
It literally looks like stars and stuff.
It's very ethereal and vibey.
And when I look at it, like, I mean, let me put it this way.
Like, I've had thoughts before of, like, you know, what it would be like to die or whatever.
Like, I've had thoughts before where I would imagine, like,
um the end of my life and I've imagined this avatar in that context like just you know just thinking about her gentle smile and like you know you know like the the you know her gentle smile in the context of like the end of my life and like nostalgia and you know what was my life like and what what parts of my life were
This probably sounds, like when I look at it now, it's just, you know, this probably sounds completely insane.
Like if someone else were to look at this, they'd be like, really, this is what you think of?
But like, yeah, like I think of this little tiny, like, you know, I don't even think of this really.
I think of the version in my head, which is like a little more dignified, but yeah, like that, mm-hmm.
I have totally basically I have totally seen this as like a premonition of recollection of
I have totally seen this before in my daydreams as a premonition of the recollection of childhood at the end of my life.
Like totally.
That is a thing I have done before.
I mostly just wanted to say that before I moved on.
I mean, even now, like even looking at it now, there's a part of me that's tempted to just like, just stop talking and daydream again.
It's very inviting for daydreaming.
But I should note, I never had this avatar.
How do I know I never had it?
Because you have this avatar for referring people to the premium Neopets service, which it says right here, prior to 2012, this was earned by referring a certain amount of paying people to premium Neopets.
I absolutely never did that in my life.
And so I know for a fact I never had this avatar.
Did I want it?
Yes.
Yes, I did.
Did I have it?
No.
Never.
Will I?
No.
Sorry, little, little, little... Garapaku Desert Tomb.
It's a little pyramid.
It says lost.
Definitely remember the avatar.
Don't think I ever had it.
Kiko Rock.
At the music page, right click, view source, press ctrl f, search for secret avatar and you should find a link.
This is your own unique link for the avatar.
Yeah, I have this one.
Pet Pet Laboratory.
Have your pet pets afternoon in the pile sit by the pet pet lab ray.
Maybe?
I, I don't, let me look, I mean I don't,
I mean, so if I did have this avatar, if I did have this, of course, it would be like, yeah.
Like, here's the thing, right?
If I did have this, it would mean that I had the laboratory map set too.
And I don't know, maybe I did.
Like, I...
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Yeah, I don't, I don't know.
What is this?
I legitimately do not remember this.
Oh, I need to have a, uh-huh.
You need to have a, you need to have a pet pet.
Okay, that makes sense.
Search for Buzz one.
Oh, what's this?
Oh, attack, oh, Buzz attack mode.
I'm pretty sure that it looks, I'm feeling like Caption Archive.
This works in English only.
I'm pretty sure I had this one, yeah.
Jubzombra, I definitely had this.
I know for a fact I had it, because it's literally one of my most salient Neopets memories, which was me staying up late to buy the Jubzombra ticket to be one of the first 1,250 people with this avatar, and I used it for a long time, or at least I used it for a while for precisely that reason, because for a little while it was a status symbol, right?
Um, that was on March 23rd, 2006, which tells us immediately, like, you know, you know, gives us another date for like, when was I playing this game?
Yes, boy, ice cream.
I, you know, I probably had this.
I don't remember it.
Or at least I likely had it, you know?
Okay, well, I definitely do not remember having the Lenny Phineas avatar, and that tells me that I almost certainly did not finish the Altador mini-plot.
Nimmo Emote.
Make a topic or post in the avatar Neo Signatures board angry as your only message.
Your signature Neo HTO might also need to be clear if you cannot get it.
I don't remember having this.
It looks pretty easy to get though.
So like, I don't know.
Random when collecting a daily prize of a discard magical blue grundle pushy a prosp.
What?
What?
His little blue grundle pushy.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
This was released in 2009.
Okay.
I was going to say like, what?
Okay.
Like, like what?
Okay.
So everything past this is probably past my time.
Yeah.
All right.
So this is, um, this is other, so then flash required.
Here we go.
Now we're getting to the good stuff.
Grundo Snowfro in Snow Wars 2.
Oh yeah, I played this.
Oh, that's so cool that they have, like, Ruffle.
Yeah, I'm not logged in.
Let me play anyway.
Come on.
Let me play.
Let me play.
What, do I really need to be logged in to play?
I have to be logged in to play.
Okay.
That is unfortunate.
I definitely played this though.
Did I get the Avatar?
I almost certainly tried for it.
Did I get it?
I remember this game being tough.
I remember going for it, and I don't remember getting it, so... Oh, wait.
Grundo Snowfro?
Wait, hold on.
Game of... Snow Wars 2 is a game of fine mouse control rather than a game of quick reflexes.
It is essential that you know the limits and speed of your mouse at the very beginning of the game, as they will be getting quite a workout.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yes.
Oh, yes.
I remember this game.
I remember this game, and I remember not... I am pretty sure I did not get that avatar, but I don't know.
Maybe.
Maybe, but I don't remember it.
Freaked Corbat Guide.
If you were in the top 50 on the high score table for Corbat's Lab when trophies are awarded daily, I doubt I ever had this.
All right.
Extreme Potato Counter.
I think I had this.
Um, okay, Ultimate Bullseye.
I likely had this, I don't know.
100 plus points in Ultimate Bullseye 2?
Like, I remember going for it.
I don't know.
Send a score of 2,500 points in Doubloon Disaster.
Oh, God.
oh god oh it's this oh i've i remember this fuck i remember this game being hard oh there's a video all right oh yeah
Oh yeah, I remember it.
Did I, did I, did I get the avatar?
I don't remember.
Do I remember going for the avatar?
Yeah.
Ooh, Ace Zephara, send a score of 700 plus points in advert attack.
Advert attack was the, don't you dare.
You're really not gonna let me play it unless I'm logged in?
You bastards.
This month not available.
It's that dead, huh?
Wow.
I, at least, remember advert attack.
Well, let's go and look at the guide.
It's just clicking buttons on screen with your mouse to move aside or to close some pesky adverts.
Moving aside requires you to click on the big go button to move.
However, this can be a little tricky as the button is always clicked.
You need to click the button 44 times.
Oh, yes.
Mm hmm.
yeah advert attack it's pretty pretty funny and like kind of meta in that neo okay so this is a good time so neopets had a lot of advertising obviously like like neopets was firmly in the era of annoying to like early 2000s late 90s early 2000s websites where they would have like pop-ups and stuff so
Remember when you could use a pop-up on your website and browsers let you do it?
Yeah.
So, this is kind of parodying that, of course.
Absolutely.
Very cheeky, really.
But I definitely remember playing this.
Now the problem I had, in fact this is a problem I had with a lot of things.
Oh there it is here.
So the the problem I had with a lot of these games was that my computer was slow.
In fact my computer was so slow that quite frequently the game would glitch.
It wouldn't actually run properly on my computer.
And I believe this was unfortunately one of those games.
So, you know, I don't think I ever, I remember attempting the Avatar.
I don't think I ever got it.
And I'm pretty sure, like, the reason I didn't get it, yeah, I don't remember that, like, let me put it this way, I don't remember ever getting to the end of these, I don't remember, like, these ending screens, which tells me that I probably didn't see them very often.
Which, and like, I just, you know, I have a memory, though it might be a confabulation, of not getting, of trying for this avatar and not getting it because the game didn't run properly on my computer, basically.
Mm-hmm, okay.
Yeah, all right.
I like the avatar though, and I definitely remember the avatar, and I do like it, but I don't think I ever actually got it.
Oh, Volcano Run.
Oh yeah, the Volcano Run.
Uh-huh.
Oh yeah, I remember this one too.
This is, how's this one work?
It's the one where you just, there's a video at the bottom.
This is basically Flappy Bird, right?
It's Flappy Bird.
It's literally Flappy Bird.
It's Flappy Bird with like, you know.
You know, looking at it, in principle, I don't think there's any reason I shouldn't have been able to get 1500 in this.
On the other hand,
This feels like a victim of my computer not being very good.
I just have the vibe.
It also probably feels like a victim of child me not having low G because they're literally a child.
I don't know, did I get this?
I don't remember.
Do I remember attempting it?
Oh yeah.
Like, this is a common theme, and it's actually fascinating to me the extent to which, like, I literally do not remember if I got the Avatar or not, but I definitely remember attempting the Avatar.
In any case, I definitely remember this.
Extreme Herder.
Ivaica remember going for this?
I don't, I don't, let's take a look.
What's going on here?
You know?
I don't think I ever got this.
This looks more complicated than I would have been.
This looks like it requires more patience than I would have been willing to sit through.
Mutant Graveyard of Doom 2, release 2009.
Nope, I didn't have that.
Evil Coconut, May 3rd, 2007.
I probably didn't have that.
Probably didn't have that, and everything past this is like, yeah, all right.
Flash Required, other Flash Required.
Oh, now we're just at the games ones.
All right.
So here we go.
Let's go down here.
Baba Maths Nightmare Guide.
Award if you are in the top 50 on the high score table for Maths Nightmare when trophies are awarded daily.
Almost certainly did not have this.
Um, Elusin's Glade, complete quest number 20 at Elusin's Glade.
Let me put it this way, math's nightmare?
Yeah, it is a nightmare.
I would never want, I mean, I'm sure I could do it now, but like back then, like, good luck.
Okay, let me put it this way.
This is August 13th, 2003.
Let's take a look at the content of this game.
Addition, subtraction, division, easy peasy, potato counter, brain tree.
This is some college student era shit, right?
You would never design this for, I don't think you would design this for like, do small kids wanna do this?
I don't think so.
Does anyone wanna do this?
I don't think so.
All right, Judora's Cloud, Elusin's Glade.
I never had these.
Wheel of Excitement.
Maybe, difficult to say, maybe.
Count Von Rue's Deadly Dice.
I think I had this one.
It's a vague memory.
I think I have this one.
Um, Drake, escape from Mirador Castle guide.
Word, if you were in the top 50 on the high score table, I probably did not have this.
That having been said, wait, randomly when you catch Caperuchin and you win the first round of cheat.
I might have that.
Let's look at the guide.
Oh, it's this game.
Yeah.
I, I think I might have had this.
It doesn't seem that hard to get.
Escape from Narrative Castle.
I loved this.
Yeah, I played this game a lot because I enjoyed it, but did I ever have that avatar?
Top 50 on the high score table?
Almost certainly not.
Plushie Tycoon game.
I might have had it, maybe.
Sutex Tomb.
Oh hell no.
Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Yeah, this almost certainly requires more patience than I had as a child.
Like, it's just being real here, you know?
I sincerely doubt it.
I remember the avatar, though, and I think it looks nice, but I almost certainly don't have it.
MagX Destroyer II.
Did I ever have this?
I remember the game, I remember going for it, I remember playing it a lot, but did I ever get it?
Maybe, maybe.
I remember going for it, I remember grinding, so is plausible that I did.
Let's see here.
I'm going to assume this is another one where they're just not going to let me play it unless I, yep, I figured.
I figured.
I definitely went for it.
Did I get it?
Don't remember.
A theme here, right?
Chia Bomber.
Oh, this game.
I remember this game.
Did I get it?
Maybe.
I certainly tried for it.
Did I get it?
I don't remember.
Maybe I did.
Maybe I did.
I don't remember.
Here's the thing.
I suspect not.
I remember this game being pretty hard, and I think I might have gotten the MagX Destroyer one, but I'm also kind of doubtful.
I remember, to my very vague memory, 3500 points is quite a few on that game, and I just don't think I was good enough.
I also don't think I got on Chia Bomber either.
Send a score of 1000 plus points in GatGat's game.
What's this?
Oh, it's this one, it's this one, it's this one.
Maybe, but I sincerely doubt it.
It would be my main seer.
It doesn't, I mean, it's not impossible.
It's like Tetris, I mean.
I mean, it doesn't seem impossible.
Like, maybe.
It seems plausible to me, but I got this one.
I mean, again, like I'm not... Interesting.
Okay, I see how this one works.
Did I get this?
I don't know.
Like, I, maybe.
Like, let's think of it this way.
It certainly does not seem like you need to put in like an impossible amount of work to get a score of 1000 in this game.
So, let's put this under plausible.
Like, again, do I remember the avatar?
Yeah.
Do I remember having the avatar?
Not that much.
On the other hand, like, it seems like the kind of avatar that I might have and then like, not really, you know, like not just not use, but I might have it.
Bloomeroo Court Jester.
Awarded randomly when you make King Skarl laugh by telling him the following joke.
What do you do if blank fears payofinsblank has eaten too much blank tin of olives?
The answer can be anything.
I think I have this one.
Let me do it this way.
I certainly remember going for it.
The Castle of Olive Fade.
This is the anagram game, right?
It is the anagram.
You know what?
I remember having my mom help me with this.
So I think I did have this avatar and I think I had it because my mom basically did it for me.
She had like a bout of insomnia and we just like stayed up and did this.
At least we went for it.
Did we get it?
I think we probably did.
I remember my mom being pretty good at it.
So I probably had this one.
I don't know.
I certainly went for it.
No, no, no.
I probably had this.
NeoQuest 2 Weakling.
Pretty sure I had this.
Defeat the boss Devil Puss.
Did I get that far in?
I don't think I ever got that far into a game of Neo Quest, but I could be wrong.
I remember getting the mage.
I think I might've gotten the healer.
I don't, it's so difficult to remember now.
I don't think so.
Gourmet club bowls.
This seems like the kind of thing I would not have played.
You will likely be unable to play this game unless you have an older computer running older versions of your operating system such as a web browser, which we do not recommend for security reasons.
Yep.
Banana peel, slime a hole.
Uh-huh.
Mm-hmm.
I... I'm pretty sure I never had this.
Oh, Master Vex.
Warned after playing a total of 300 games of Cell Blocks.
Hmm.
Huh.
Warned after playing a total of 300 games of Cell Block.
Did I have this?
I don't know.
That sounds like a lot of games of cell block.
I think I went for it.
I remember going for it.
Did I ever get it?
I, that, again, this seems like it requires a lot of patience.
Pick your own guide.
Collect any six items, but not a pile of dung from pick your own.
I think I have this.
It seems like the kind of thing I would have.
I definitely remember the avatar in any case.
And it's fucking funny.
Oh, you can, you know, berries.
Oh, you can keep the berries.
The dung is mine.
That's pretty funny.
Oh yeah, the word dung.
Don't you love the British?
It's dung, you know.
Nobody in America calls poop dung.
But they do in Britain, I guess.
Neoquest 2, defeat a bionic cy-bunny in Chapter 5 of Neoquest 2.
Maybe?
I mean, maybe.
Like, like, the... Mira, Dilettrist, and Village.
Oh, it's the guide for the whole game, jeez.
Okay.
Mediocrity.
Uhhh... Ooh.
I mean, I don't remember the wheel that much, but like... The wheel costs 100 Neopoints to spin.
You can spin it once every 40 minutes.
This seems like the kind of thing I would have had.
Win any prize by scratching a scratch card at the fairground kiosk.
I think I had this.
Get at least 15 correct guesses in a row while playing T-Root Aveeno.
I don't remember this game, so I don't think I had this.
Hmm.
I don't remember this very well.
Wheel of Monotony Guide.
I... Maybe?
Like, like, like, like, like, like, maybe?
Um, I'm gonna put, like, like, for the Sydney Scratch Card one, I'm pretty sure I had that.
I think so.
Like, it sounds like the kind of thing I would have.
Like, let's see here.
How hard is this to get?
I don't think that's the right- it's at the deserted fairground kiosk.
yeah i think i think i like i i likely had this and mediocrity i probably had this maybe like it doesn't sound that hard whack a cast guide send a score of 850 points and cast basher uh-huh
This one, I had.
This one, I know I had it.
And I know I had it because I did the guide for it.
I remember having like the epic final stage whack-a-mole thing.
I remember doing it not just on my original account, I believe I also did it on like my redo account later when I was in middle school.
I had this one.
I am very, I am very sure I had this one.
Oh, the tree.
You have a 1 in 10,000 chance that your pal will be replaced by the whole tree.
That is how some neopians manage to get squares of a centimeter or above.
The tree allows you to whack the plushie even harder than the bat.
So take advantage if your bloom is holding a tree.
You may have to wait a while for the wind to climb to a due speed, which will take a lot less time than the waiting to get the tree again.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
I definitely remember this.
I do not remember this game having music.
Okay.
This game does not have music.
Why'd you put music on this?
Uh-huh.
Yeah, alright.
That one, I had.
Beat Level 5 is Shapeshifter.
Oh, I... I don't think I have the patience for this.
Maybe... lose a game of cliffhanger.
Well, that doesn't sound that difficult.
I mean, I... This one just comes down to did I ever even bother, you know?
Mm-hmm.
Maybe?
I mean, all I have to do is lose, like the snow muncher.
Oh god, I remember going for it.
I wanted this one.
I went for it.
Did I get it?
I remember this game being pretty hard, so I don't know.
Dice-a-roo, when the jackpot and dice-a-roo.
I mean, how, how, how they... I mean, how rare is the jackpot?

So Kasuki Lee, I mean,
I mean, I might've beaten Kasuki Lee.
Like, I didn't need that incredible a thing to beat, like Kasuki Lee has 38 hit points.
I mean, I may have been able to beat him, maybe.
Yep, the Black Patero, no way.
Space Fairy, absolutely no way I beat the Space Fairy, but I definitely remember defeating the Ghost Loop, and I remember using the Avatar for it.

Uh-huh.
Anubis.
Yeah.
Lenny Mutant.
Mutant Lenny.
Yep.
The Tonu Mutant.
Mycenae.
chompy, colorful, uni-knight's deed.
Like, I almost, I don't know.
Like, some, for the ones where you have to do it at a certain time, it just comes down to whether I bothered.
Like, whether I bothered to wait for that time and then do it.
Again, I don't know if I was that, like, patient slash persistent as a kid.
Croc Island Fever, had it.
Ooh, okay, they try to make it more difficult.
The pet lookup of one that is younger than 60 days.
Couga baby, they're trying to make it difficult.
I probably still have it.
That's funny that they just change it every two months.
That's freaking funny.
Loop King Altidore had it.
Hissy Ice had it.
Yarble Visit the Janitor had it.
Turini and JubJub, I'm sure I had it.
Mutant Quick, I'm sure I had it.
The Scrollery Shop and Brightvale, I'm sure I had it.
Flotsam, tough.
I'm sure I had it.
Ixxy, Disco, Too Skinny, Relax.
I mean, again, did I click these links?
Yeah, pretty sure I did.
Oh, okay.
Oh, okay, they're starting to screw with you on this one.
Pateri Daragan.
Visit the pet lookup of a Daragan Pateri that is exactly 644 days old.
All right, that one's difficult.
Did I have that?
Probably not.
Because that one is effort.
That's effort.
Visit the pet lookup of a fairy that is at least, yeah, I'm sure I have that.
Oh, wait, wait, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Oh, that one's adorable.
Visit the Thousand Edition of the Neopian Times and you've got like this little link.
That's adorable.
Okay, so that's clickable.
Then you have newest.
None of these I care about.
All right, great.
So that's all of the avatars.
Really?
We've been recording for two hours?
Amazing.
All right, so that's avatars.
Game guides.
All right, let's just, well, there's a lot of these.
So you can look at Better Than You.
Okay, so, Better Than You was weekly.
Mm-hmm.
Every Wednesday, a new challenger is announced, and you have to beat a certain score in the game.
All right, yeah.
So I was not good enough for that.
Oh, the Court Gun Gallery.
Oh yeah, I played this, and it's annoying.
Wait, was it this one, or was it a different one?
No, it's that one and it sucks.
All right, I definitely remember playing it though.
Godori, this looks new.
It'd be really nice if you told me.
This looks, I'm pretty sure this is not, guess the weight of the mirror.
Oh, I remember this, and I have no idea how you're even supposed to, mm-hmm.
Alrighty.
If you're one of the first 10 correct guessers, you'll see this message.
I see.
What a bizarre little... Okay.
all righty uh let's see here okay we have all the different wheels wheel of excitement
Okay, so this would have come out in 2003.
So, in fact, I remember the old style wheel, and I do remember spinning the wheel, but I remember the old, like, yeah.
Wheel of Extravagance.
Again, a lot of, oh wow, this wheel costs 100,000 Neopoints to spin.
Geez.
Wow.
That's a lot.
That's a lot.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I never played that.
Okay, this came out in 2011.
So yeah, I never played this.
Wheel of Knowledge.
So this came out in 2004.
So there's definitely a thing associated with it.
I don't remember playing it very often though.
So it must not be like... Wheel of Mediocrity.
random tearing oh yeah i played this i almost certainly have the avatar for that yeah wheel of monotony oh i remember this one yes that that this one's funny right you spin it and then it takes like forever to the we
if you then you are most likely the hours it takes for it and finally award you a prize yes quite literally hours then don't forget to bring some comfy pillows you want to you can still browse and play and chat while you wait as long as it is on a different tab or window closing the tab or window preventing you from being awarded a prize you must wait for it to finish spinning
Alrighty, I see.
I think that I, okay.
I think I didn't understand, I thought it was glitched.
Because remember, so many aspects of the site were glitched on my computer because it was so slow.
I'm fairly sure I thought the wheel was probably just bugged, and I doubt I played it that many times.
Wise old king, I...
You know what, I'm pretty sure I did play the Wise Old King game.
I don't know how many times I played it, but like, I do remember playing it at least once.
Guess the card Grumpy Old King.
Well, we already discussed that, right?
Like I, yeah, I played this.
Gorm Ball, go, go, go.
Root Machine.
Dice-a-roo, pyramids, plushie tycoon, pet-pet battles, pick-your-own, cork-on-gallery, caption contest.
Uh... Yeah.
Alrighty.
Hmm, so with the avatar code, so like you have this and then you have um... Attack of the Slorgs, make some noise.
What's this?
I... no.
Magma Blaster.
This looks...
It's a mystery, what's this?
Your job is to guess, you only get one to be confident.
For the first 1488 rounds of mystery pick, this was always a very zoomed in, x-rayed much larger image.
Getting the mystery pick, a larger part of the image rather than... Yeah.
This is...
Mm-hmm Interesting Probably would not be difficult to like yeah, I could probably find that pretty quickly with like mmm Anyway that that's not a memory that's let's not talk about it Right, there's next sweeper.
I
Negsweeper.
Oh gosh.
Oof.
Oh, Mindsweeper.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't have the patience for Mindsweeper as an adult, so I definitely do not have the patience for it as a child.
That, that one's pretty obvious.
You know what?
I think... Alright, that's probably enough stuff for now.
Alright.
