Effective date: July 23, 2026
PriFi ("the app," "we," "us") is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app accesses, how it is used, and — importantly — what it does not do.
- Your financial data and everything you create in the app stay on your device.
- We do not operate servers, collect analytics, track you, show ads, or use third-party SDKs.
- The app has no account and no sign-in.
- We never sell or share your data, because we never receive it in the first place.
With your explicit permission, the app reads your accounts, balances, and transactions through Apple's FinanceKit framework. This information is used only on your device to:
- display your account balances, and
- categorize and total your spending against the budget you set.
This data is processed locally and is not transmitted off your device by the app. You can revoke access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security.
When you ask the app to generate a budget, it uses Apple's on-device foundation model to suggest categories based on the description you provide and a summary of your recent spending. This runs locally on your device. Your description and spending summary are not sent to us or to any external service by the app.
The categories, groups, and money you assign are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. A name for your budget is stored in the app's local preferences. None of this is uploaded anywhere by the app.
- No analytics or usage tracking.
- No advertising or ad identifiers.
- No third-party trackers or SDKs.
- No account creation, and no collection of your name, email, or contacts.
We do not share your information with third parties. The app has no backend to share it with.
Because all data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app removes the app's stored data from your device. Revoking FinanceKit access stops the app from reading new financial data.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
The app relies only on Apple's operating-system frameworks (FinanceKit, FoundationModels, SwiftData) which run on your device. It integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted in this repository with a new effective date.
