can't stack init the Haddock repo
# First, following the instructions here:
# I ran these commands:
# git clone https://github.com/haskell/haddock.git
# cd haddock
# After that, `stack init` would not work.
#
# I responded by running `stack update` and `stack upgrade`.
# Now my version of Stack is this:
# Version 1.9.3, Git revision 40cf7b37526b86d1676da82167ea8758a854953b (6211 commits) x86_64 hpack-0.31.1
# Still, `stack init` does not work; here's its latest output:
jeff@jeff-ThinkCentre-M700:~/oth/haddock$ stack init
Looking for .cabal or package.yaml files to use to init the project.

This may be resolved by:
- Using '--solver' to ask cabal-install to generate extra-deps, atop the chosen snapshot.
- Using '--omit-packages to exclude mismatching package(s).
- Using '--resolver' to specify a matching snapshot/resolver
