Describe your 3-act arc by answering these three questions in 1-2 paragraphs:
Who are you? Consider describing:
How your values and perspective have driven you to come to Turing
Your Pairin themes
How you've seen yourself grow during this module at Turing
Why are you here? Consider describing:
When have you struggled at Turing? How have you dealt with struggle?
When have you succeeded at Turing? How did you accomplish those successes?
What's next? Consider describing:
Your vision statement for what you see as your place in the tech industry and how your journey into this new career ends
After you practice storytelling in the session, answer this question: What was particularly easy or difficult about telling your story? What are 1-2 steps that you can take to continue to improve your abilities to tell your story, talk about yourself with ease, and examine your strengths?
I am Aidan McKay. Turing is a place for growth, not only as a developer but as a human being. In a technical standpoint, I've seen improvment but that is to be expected but I've noticed that it is easier to open up to classmates and even to other cohort members. I definitely wouldn't have thought I would do that considering I don't really like people or being in those types of situations. Overall I think this is a great skill to have and to maintain. I know that once it isn't necessary for class it'll be harder to practice but I do see the importance in it. I have struggled every week. Whether that struggle is small or large, I have experienced it. It is frustrating to be completely honest. I want to just learn how something works and implement it when I want and I wanna be able to understand where it can go in a more complex state but it takes more work than that for me. Succeeding comes hand in hand with the struggles. Even if they're small successses, they're still successes and I try to remember that. After turing, I want to be able to find a job that I love doing in the tech industry. The only thing is that I don't know companies so I don't know who would align with me and my morals. I just know that I want to look forward to going to work everyday. Hopefully that job turns into a career as well.
Understanding how to tell stories is a great first step for me. I just feel like my story above doesn't flow well so it probably doesn't have a great following. Practice telling my story. Recieving feedback about how to improve

This is a good starting point for telling your story; I would also encourage you to practice talking about yourself in different contexts to see what details stick with you.
