GTA Marathon is going IRL for the first time! Taking place in the University of Portsmouth's Eldon Building in England between the 7th and 11th of April 2025. It's a mixed On-site and Online Speedrun marathon, featuring both the best of people in person and from those who can't attend online!

Important Information For International Travellers!

Rules regarding free and open travel to the UK change on the 2nd of April 2025 (5 days before the event!)

Joshimuz's GTA:SA 20th Anniversary Any% Community Race Details

It's time for the third ever community race! Previously with over 400 sign ups and over 130 finishers, making it the largest GTA:SA Speedrun Race ever (again), it's time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game's release with what will hopefully be the biggest race weekend ever!

This time, there's two races! A 100% race on Saturday the 26th of October by the 100% SA speedrun community LINK TO THAT RACE HERE (which you should join if you want to try a 100% speedrun!) and my race which is the usual Any%/whatever category you want to do race, happening the day after on Sunday the 27th of October. About the Race Event

The race will be organised in my Discord server with the "Community Racer" role (that you can request from the Channels & Roles page or a moderator) and associated text+voice channel. If you want to join the race I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND using this as all communication on the race to the racers will be in these channels, however if you just want to turn up on the day and play by yourself that's cool too, but you might miss a lot of information/fun. :)

Skill Classes/Groups

All skill levels are welcome! I'm using a multi-system to put people into groups for the race so you can hopefully have some fun races with people of similar familiarity with SA. The classes aren't enforced, so don't worry if you feel like you're in the wrong one. I'll only be using it for stream layouts and data stuff.

I WROTE THIS REAL FAST LATE AT NIGHT SO IT'S PROBABLY QUITE WRONG OK?

tl;dr New glitch skips code at start of Chapter 2 and 3 which causes Louise in Chapter 2 and Lance in Chapter 3 to be skipped (as well as a few other missions) and almost all other missions becoming available at the start. This saves like an hour I guess.
