 I would like to input 2 cents here:

 1st Cent: 
 We do use it on our RR servers and we do our outmost to report the issues found both to the mod devs and to the spongedevs cause yes
 SpongeForge will be the future thing most modded communities will use to moderate their servers, It's a better, more stable version of
 bukkit with a clear documented wiki on how to do things. So why not work pre-emptively with helping issues get fixed rather than turn
 a blind eye and have server owners and users suffer as a consequense.

 2nd Cent: 
 I know for a fact reason Gabi isn't on the server much is due to both his private life which I won't bring up due to respect for him,
 also due to his die hard dedication to trying to fix issues that pop-up when SpongeForge is used with other mods.

 You're all free to do what you want with the MMD Server :P
 But I don't want any possible misunderstanding to occur from people thinking Gabi doesn't care simply cause he doesn't play on the server we're using to test it.
