Eric's Speech

Now I know you’re not thrilled to sit here today,
but just give me a few minutes, and then I’ll go away I stand here hoping to get your vote
by reading off this paper with some stuff I wrote Now let me tell you why you should vote for me
for starters, I’m the most experienced nominee
I can make 300 dollars with Boba Tea
and 500 with each bake sale I oversee
a thousand dollars is a lot for one year
But now I’m ready to kick it into high gear
So I’m not gonna act like Trump,
and try to spew words that belong in a dump
Or start to give you promises I can’t keep
like making the cookies and ice cream more cheap
I think we can agree that we all want more money Now I have a plan, but it sorta sounds funny
3000 dollars is what I wanna make
but in reality, all we have to do is bake
6 bake sales, thats all we need
and all you gotta do is let me lead
Now i care about this position, i really do
I can do better, I know this is true,
and I have goals set that I know I can meet
And I’ll do it, by selling every last treat
In the beginning of the year I got this position
and I made making money my primary mission
But I learned there’s way more to it
it means listening and representing you all
that’s what I intend to do starting next fall
I’ll listen to each and every one of you
accounting for every opinion and point of view.
Now if you decide to put me in office
I can’t promise you that my work will be flawless
But I can promise you that I’ll try my hardest
no matter what I’ll try regardless.
Now I know some of you are tired of hearing me preach So let me just quickly wrap up my speech
I’ll leave you with what i said
