Pixelmator drawbacks

  • No Photoshop “Blending options” for often used adjustments
    • Stroke
    • Color/gradient
    • Drop-shadow
    • Blend-if sliders for fine-tune mixing with the layer below
  • No align layer to selection, https://gitlab.slack.com/archives/C0GQHHPGW/p1491941732978762
  • No dimensions of selection as you are selecting
    • View -> Show Info Bar
  • Unable to dock tools and layers to the side full height
    • This makes it hard to zoom in on things on the edges
  • No animated gif support
