NixOS Rescue Script for Live Disk

NixOS Rescue Script for Live Disk

This is my personal recovery script for nixos that I use when the boot fails. It allows you to edit the nixos config and reinstalls the boot loader. Note that I don't use flakes in my setup.

I created a live USB drive by downloading a graphical ISO from https://nixos.org/download/#nixos-iso (installed with https://rufus.ie/ to the usb drive on a windows laptop), then booting from the USB drive (without reinstalling nixos), connecting to the internet and then running the script above.

The only reason this script is public is so that I don't have to log in to github after booting from the live usb drive.

Use at your own risk. You probably will need to adapt the /dev paths in the mount commands.
