Ever wanted to easily get to your firmware inside Windows, just from your desktop and not with boot screen, settings or restart while holding shift? WinUEFI is the answer!
- PC with Windows installed and running (At least a PC with Windows 8 or later should work. Lower versions i don't know of are working!)
- Program WinUEFI (get it by clicking here.)
To install, first install the application from the latest release for your architecture and preferences. You can find it by clicking here.
Here you see a list of assets. Choose the one with your PC architecture. Setup is to set it up and use it anytime easily, but the portable version is just the program file. Console version shows the console while running. BAT is the source script file. PS1 is the PowerShell script version. ZIP has a few of these versions in it.
Click your preferred asset and it will start downloading. Maybe you have to click Save (As
to still download it. After this, open the file. It will ask for Admin privileges to run.
BAT and PS1 needs to be ran as Admin manually. It will reboot your device into UEFI/BIOS now and you can change settings! For the setup: install with the on-screen instructions and open after finish from start menu or desktop. Now it will start to reboot into your UEFI/BIOS settings!
