Working WebCatalog Premium Crack, with premium features unlocked

WebCatalog is one of the best programs that can be used to turn any website into a desktop app with added functionality, with many features that many Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) do not offer through browsers. However, it is greatly restricted and allows a maximum of 2 apps and spaces per account.

But not to worry about as there is a current workaround to create unlimited apps and spaces.

Inspired by @HorridModz's original gist on the same.

Here's a quick tutorial how to bypass it. Note that the default directory of WebCatalog Apps is C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Programs\WebCatalogApps

Installing Apps:

  1. Keep WebCatalog open and navigate to C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Programs\WebCatalogApps by simply copying the directory mentioned before, opening This PC on your device and pasting it in the address bar (see below).

webcatalog block

  1. After opening the default folder, select both the folders in the directory and cut them (Ctrl+X).
  2. Create a new folder on your desktop and paste both selected folders here.
  3. Open WebCatalog, navigate to the installed section on the left and hit the refresh button on the top. This should make the apps that were in the library disappear.
  4. Now create or install the apps of choice with a maximum of 2 apps being possible at one time. Open both the apps one by one after they have been installed. Close them when they are seen to be working as expected.
  5. If more apps are needed to be installed, repeat steps 1-4 by cutting the installed app folders from the default directory and pasting them to the new folder created followed by a refresh in the WebCatalog library after every 2 apps.
  6. Move the new folder containing all your apps to another location of your choice and to access the apps, create shortcuts from the app's .exe files.

WARNING: Never place more than 2 app folders in the default directory as this will cause the apps to get 'softlocked' displaying the blocked notification seen above.

However, if you face the issues of apps being softlocked, do not worry as there is a fix below.

Unlocking Apps:

  1. Identify which apps have been blocked. In case there are more than 2 apps in the default folder that are pre-exisiting, move the 2 working apps from the default directory to a new folder as stated in Installing Apps above.
  2. Open WebCatalog, navigate to installed apps and hit refresh. You should see the 2 apps that you have placed in the directory.
  3. Open the apps one after the one only from the installed apps section. Close them when they are seen to be working as expected. Note that opening the app from anywhere else might not work.
  4. After both the apps have been opened and closed, move them to the new folder containing the working apps that you have placed.
  5. If any, place 2 more apps that have been locked in the default directory.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 untill all installed WebCatalog apps have been unlocked.
  7. Move the new folder containing all unlocked WebCatalog apps to a folder of choice.
  8. Apps can be launched through desktop shortcuts, pinning to Start Menu or Taskbar after all steps have been completed.

Updating Apps:

It is recommened to keep atleast one WebCatalog app in the default directory and visiting the WebCatalog app occasionally, if you wish to check for updates from WebCatalog towards the apps.

Check for updates after opening WebCatalog's installed section.

  1. Select all WebCatalog apps from the custom folder they are stored in.
  2. Paste them to the default directory.
  3. Refresh the library in the Updates section and update all apps.
  4. Apps exceeding more than 2 will have a locked icon on them.

image

  1. Check which 2 apps are currently unlocked (Pinterest here) and move them back to the default location.
  2. Refresh WebCatalog Installed section and repeat Step 5 until all apps are unlocked and moved back to the custom folder.

Installing Spaces

Bypassing this feature also uses a similar method.

  1. Navigate to WebCatalog's default directory and find the folders that have the same name as the installed; e.g. Space 1 and Space 2.
  2. Select and cut both the folders and paste them in a new folder.
  3. Refresh WebCatalog's library from the Installed section using the refresh button.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for creating as many spaces as required .
  5. Relocate the new folder containing all spaces to a location of choice for convenience.

Enjoy.

All the above mentioned features have been tested and are currently working as of 28th May 2025. However, if you face any issues, feel free to reach out and I'll be sure to help.

If this Gist works, a star would be greatly appreciated.

Yay! So you just updated this after the new patch came out? What's different - just the creating shortcuts to exe files?

As far as I've seen, there's been some important bug fixes for opening links for some apps like Gmail that I was facing, choosing how to open links in app has an UI Update, a new experimental feature, dashboard wallpapers and some new features related to subspace shortcuts. See more here. So it's been a pretty good update personally
