Instant Pot Chili

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lb Ground Beef or Turkey, lean
  • 1 Onions, chopped
  • 1 Bell Peppers, red or yellow
  • 1 Jalapeno Peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 28 oz Diced Tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup Beef Broth

Preparation Steps

  1. On a 6-quart Instant Pot, select Sauté and adjust to Normal/Medium.
  2. Add the ground beef or turkey to olive oil in the pot. Cook, stirring frequently, until browned, 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Drain off the fat, if needed. Stir in the chili powder and salt. Stir in the tomatoes, broth, onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, and garlic. Lock the lid in place.
  4. Select Manual and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Use quick release.
