Installing Cool-Retro-Term on Windows10

First of all, this document is just a recompilation of different resources that already existed on the web previously that I personally tested some ones did work and other not. I liked the idea to make a full guide from start to end so all of you could also enjoy playing with cool-retro-term on windows 10. Personally I installed it on a windows 10 pro version. Fingers crossed!

Connecting to an Android device over SSH

Initial Setup

Install Android App Termux from APKPure or AppStore. If the app exists, just delete and re-install it to get the latest version, The APK can be downloaded from https://apkpure.com/termux/com.termux/ Install the APK using by running

adb install ~/Downloads/Termux_v0.73_apkpure.com.apk

Steps

1. Install Termux on android device.
2. Find Termux username.

Backup

1. Open Discord.
2. Press CTRL, SHIFT and I on your keyboard at the same time.
3. In the newly opened window, at the top, click the >> button, and then click on Application.
   
4. Once in the Application tab, click the little triangle next to Local Storage, and then click on https://discordapp.com.

Install Android apps or apk files in Windows using Windows Subsystem for Android

WSA or Windows Subsystem for Android is a Tool that allows Windows to run Android Apps directly without using any emulator. The problem is Windows Subsystem for Android is currently only available through preview via the Beta Channel of the Windows Insider Program. But if you follow my guide, you don't have to be in Windows Insider Program to try it out. The only thing you need is Windows 11 installed and some patience.

Prerequisites:

• Windows Subsystem for Android or WSA must be Installed.
