# Pixel 3 Phone Clock App Test, Part 2

## Equipment
Pixel 3, running GrapheneOS Build number RP1A.201105.002.2020.11.03.03 Stable Release. The phone has seen extensive use but is in good cosmetic condition. Vibration, sound, speakers, microphones, and cameras have been verified to be in good operational condition as of yesterday.

## Method
### Preparation
The phone's battery was charged to nearly 90% prior to the test. Call Volume, Ring and Notification Volume, and Alarm Volumes were set to 100%, while Media Volume was left near 25%. Bluetooth was switched off. The Phone was connected to a WiFi network and has a valid SIM card with cellular data access.

Part 1 of the clock app test was run prior to this test. The phone was not shut down between tests. 

### Process
The phone saw some light usage after running Part 1, which included unlocking the phone and allowing it to sleep again, charging the battery to 90%, and checking some settings. An alarm was set in the owner profile for 2 minutes past the current time with the following conditions:
* Default Ringtone. The default ringtone has been set for a custom one, and verified to play by tapping the name of the selected custom ringtone in settings. The ringtone played as expected.
* Vibration enabled
* Do Not Disturb switched off
* Do Not Disturb set to not suppress alarms

The alarm clock icon was confirmed to remain in the corner of the screen before the phone was set down and allowed to remain undisturbed for the next 2 minutes.

### Expected Outcome
An alarm with the default ringtone to play within 2 hours, and the phone to vibrate.

### Observations:
The alarm sounded as expected, with vibration. The screen lit up and showed the prompt to either dismiss or snooze the alarm. The alarm was dismissed, which ended the test.

This was done with a relatively short alert time of 2 minutes. A longer test will be conducted in Part 3 to set the alert for 2 hours, during which the phone will see regular use as a phone, and in Part 4, the phone will be allowed to sleep all night.

## Notes
* This phone is a daily driver and sees regular use consistent with the patterns of a daily use phone, including sending of plaintext SMS messaging, use of messaging applications, internet browsing, unencrypted phone calls, and voice/video calls. 
* The default ring tone has been set in the options to a .wav file which has been saved to shared storage.
* A work profile is in use. However, no other separate user profiles have been established on the phone.
