Yeah, same here, I first install Homebrew’s chromaprint without it’s ffmpeg dependency with:
brew install --ignore-dependencies chromaprint
then, build ffmpeg with the --with-chromaprint
option.

I believe you need to install chromaprint first and use
-- enable-chromaprint
but it's also been quite a while since I installed
