How to Restore/Re-install Nvidia Control Panel after 610.47

As we all know, with driver updates after 610.47 Nvidia Control Panel is not installed in favour of the Nvidia App. I believe it should be a choice. Many maybe happy with NVCPL + advanced control of nvidiaProfileInspector. Also, some may not have the Microsoft Store installed.

Now, let's get to the point.

Driver Install:

  1. Download the driver package from Nvidia's website or through NVCleanstall
  2. Install via NVCleanstall. Set components to install -> Recommended
  3. Optionally also check the notes section below for recommended NVCleanstall tweaks
  4. Don't install yet
