Template for DTR Memo

Project: Number Guesser Doubles

Group Member Names: Raisa & Austen

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):

  • The paired project is due next Thursday. We want to have the majority of it completed by next Monday so that we can have ample time to work with mentors well before the deadline.

  • We expect to meet at least twice a week to work together and to set schedules for individual work during these times.

  • Raisa wants to be the best! And Austen wants to be the best teammate!

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):

  • We're both willing to work early and often and are comfortable splitting work and handling tasks independently.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:

  • Neither of us is afraid to speak our minds. We are both willing to work through issues with communication.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):

  • We are planning to meet for an hour and a half each Tuesday and Thursday after class. During these times we will discuss our weekend availability which is tentatively open during the mornings.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):

  • Aside from meeting during the week, we plan to text often.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):

  • Raisa has programming skills and Austen has flexibility.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

  • To be determined

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

  • To be determined

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

  • We'll cooperate to set expectations and communicate to resolve any issues.

  • We plan to use Github projects to split work via branching.

  • Create GitHub repo
  • Clone remote repo to local workflow
  • Create develop branch
  • Create README.md
