| <!-- Part 1, 2, 3 ---> | |
| [ RM sits down to review the needs of the client, goes through their paper, finds a number to call, and then starts dialing. A phone rings. Someone picks up the phone. RM turns the speaker on ] | |
| RM: Hello, is this {CLIENT Name}? | |
| Client: Hello, yes this is {CLIENT NAME}. This is {RM} speaking? | |
| RM: Jee, {CLIENT NAME}, this is the {RM} calling from {BRANCH NAME}. Asal mei humne call ki thi to regarding a shipment | |
| problem, with order number {NUMBER}. Meine aapse pehle bhi baat ki thi aik week pehle about the payments and everything, | |
| magar phir bhi aapke taraf se koi response ya reply nahi aya. | |
| Client: Jee, dekheiye, hum is bare mei aapko call hi kerne wale the, aap khud samajh sekti hai ke hamare liye ye situation | |
| kitni hard hai khud, mei aapke jazbaat samajh sekta hoon ke aapka bhi business hai, aur hamare yahaan {SOME COMPANY NAME} | |
| ke haan bhi - | |
| RM: Please, {CLIENT NAME}, seedhi seedhi baat karein, jo hai, woh batain, mera waqt bhi important hai, aapka bhi, | |
| behtar hoga ke is time ko waste nahi karein, aur saaf saaf baat karein | |
| Client: Mei bhi to wahi chah raha hoon, mei bhi to yahi chah raha hoon, aap samjhe to. Aap khud soche. Hum dono ki apas mei partnership ko 4 saal se bhi zyada hogai hai, aur theek hai, mei manta hoon ke kabhi kabhar payments der hoi hai pehli bhi, but har dafa humne poori payment aapko di. Aap befikar hojai. | |
| RM: Aur ab aap meri baat sune, aapke aur hamare halaat kafi different hai. Aapke company ke paas 10 branches hai, aur hamare mei sirf 3, aapke 100 se zyada employees, hamare sirf 20. Hum dono ki same position aur same posts nahi, na hi same situation. Aapke 1-2 employees ya payments late hojai, aapke paas reserves aur savings hai, hamare kuch kami hojai, to hume facilities bhi cut kerna ker jati hai ... | |
| Client: Aur mei is ka kiya karoon? Kiya ye sab meri responsibility ya burden hai, aapki kiya chahti hai ke is ke bare mei kiya karoon? | |
| RM: Mujhe bharosa chaiye ke aap apne end se apni jo bhi kuch responsibilities hai, aap fulfill kareinge | |
| Client: Woh to hum kareinge, jesa ke har dafa kerte hoi aei hai | |
| RM: Baki is ke illawa meri branch aapke response aur call ka wait ker rahe hai. | |
| Client: Zaroor. Aap pareshaan na ho, ye sab - | |
| [ RM cuts call. Drinks water from a bottle on the table. Talks to her. Face looking tired ] | |
| <!-- Part 2 --> | |
| RM: [ Self talks about how the branch has received calls from 2-3 other clients as well]. I should call the boss. | |
| [ RM turns on laptop infront of him / her. Turns on the calling ringtone. The Manager picks up. | |
| RM starts the "Hello" voice clip of the M, then replies back in the hello. | |
| >> M: Hello, Jee! Walaikum Assalam. Kiya haal chaal hain? Sab theek thaak? ( 1.mp3 ) | |
| >> RM: Haan yaar woh bas aapko pata haina about the recent situation kiya hogai hai fil haal in dinno. Aap se kal jo appointment li th - | |
| >> M: Woh sab to theek hai, magar coffe peoge? ( 2.mp3 ) | |
| >> RM: Arey nahi, woh aap se kuch kaam tha aur kuch discussion kerni thi | |
| >> M: Hmmm ... abhi time hai to, mei to wese hi lunch per nikalne wala tha thori der mei. Bolo? ( 3.mp3 ) | |
| >> RM: Yaar it's kiya situation chal rahi hai for the company after Covid 19, aur hmm kis direction mei jaraha hai matlab ye branch kis direction mei ja rahi hai | |
| >> M: 4.mp3 | |
| >> RM: Kaam hai, thora kaam hai, but kaam to hai. As for the surat e haal, I don't think itni bigri hai, ke bilkul sab operations down hogai and no demand at all, bas ye hai ke payments thori bauhat late hogain hai. Mujhe abhi tak Mr.Faraz, Mr.Kashif, jo hamare new clients bane the at the start of this year, unse abhi tak payment receive nahi hoi, saat satt Miss Shumaila jo hamari purani client reh chukki hai from Xetex Corporation, unki taraf se bhi abhi delay araha hai. Sab unsure hai yahaan per, and kissi ko koi andaza nahi when things will go back to being normal. | |
| >> M: 5.mp3 | |
| >> RM: Unko meine aaj hi call ki thi, jas before this meeting, and again the same response. No reply to emails, no callbacks, jo calls bhi ki hai, woh meine ki hai, jo kaam bhi kiya hai, woh meine kiya hai apni taraf se, mei to unki baatein sun ker tang agaya hoon, baar baar aik hi dialog, "payment kerdeinge, kardeinge", matlab if they are unsure about ke ab kiya kerna ha ya unhone pehle se preparation nahi kerki rakhi thi, why don't they just say it? Kiya jaraha hai isme unka? | |
| >> M: 6.mp3 | |
| >> RM: Theek hai, I'll see you some other time. Take care! | |
| >> M: 7.mp3 + 8.mp3 | |
| <!-- Part 4, 5, 6 --> | |
| RM: [ Closes the laptop, and then just after that, the HRP enters the room and greets the RM ] | |
| RM: Hello, {HRP NAME}. Kiya haal hain aapke? | |
| HRP: Alhamdullillah, Allah ka shukar hai. | |
| RM: Aapko koi kaam? Aein bethe. | |
| HRP: [ Sits down ] | |
| HRP: Mei directly baat kerna chahti hoon about the situation, and aapne jo decision liya hai yesterday, uski mujhe exactly reasoning samjhai ke aapne kiya soch ke liye. Aapne kal hamare branch ke sab employees ko email forward ki thi about cuts in the salary. Is this true? | |
| RM: Jee, aisa hi hai. | |
| HRP: Koi khaas waja? Mera kafi time hogaya hai is company mei, and aaj tak aisa kuch nahi hoa, and then suddenly this. | |
| RM: Aapko samajh sekte hai hamare halat, as a branch, as a company, as an organization joke in mushkil hallat se guzar | |
| rahi hai, jahaan COVID ki situation ki wajah se hamari facilities aur expertise koi hum itna utilize nahi ker pa rahe - | |
| HRP: Aur woh aapki problems hai, hamari nahi, hum phir bhi 8 ghante office arahe hai, aur hamare apne expenses | |
| bharh rahe hai. | |
| RM: Mei aapki situation samajh sekta hoon. Pehle aap thora calm ho - hum baat kerte hain. | |
| HRP: Baat kerni ki kiya baat hai yahaan per? Seedhi si baat hai, salary situation ko improve karein. | |
| RM: Surat e haal kuch aisi hai, mere liye, balke hum sab ke liye, ye aik mushkil waqt hai, ke mei khud effect hoa / hoi hoon aur hum dono ke situation bhi similar hai. Mei aapse bauhat symphathize kerta / kerti hoon. | |
| But aapko khud poore 4 saal hogai hai is company, aur Masha Allah aapki hamari company ke saat progress kafi achi rahi hai, aur har dafa salary time per milli hai, aur growth bhi hoi hai aapki. | |
| And Insha Allah hum, as a company, yahin chaeinge ke yahaan ke employees ki situation aur growth chances behtar ho - talented aur hard working employees hai to aur achi company hai. Employees nahi, to company nahi, aur hamare company har dosre company ke tarah apne employees ke work and ideas per depend kerti hai. | |
| HRP: Ye sab to sahi hai magar ... | |
| RM: Hum yahin koshish kareinge apni taraf se ke jab abhi ki situation improve hojai, to hum aapki situation bhi improve kareinge. Salaries definitely improve hongi, aur as well the opportunities aur chances as we go down the road. | |
| HRP: Kafi salo se kaam kiya hai aapke saat, aur aap per mujhe bharosa hai | |
| RM: Aur hum yahi koshish kareinge ke aapke expectations tak live up karein. Sirf aapki issues aur problems ko suni unsuni nahi kerdeinge, but unko consider bhi kareinge. | |
| Aap ab leave kersekte hai relaxed. Things are in control right now, aapko itni pareshaan honi ki zarorat nahi | |
| HRP: Theek hai. Thank you. | |
| [ HRP leaves ] | |
| [ Slight pause with the RM alone ] | |
| <!-- Part 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 --> | |
| [ FP decides to enter. Knocks on the door ( the table, and asks to come in to the room ). RM has their face in their hands ] | |
| RM: Hmmm? | |
| [ Looks at the FP at the door ] | |
| RM: Jee, {FP NAME}. Kese hai aap? | |
| FP: Mei Alhamdullillah, theek thaak. | |
| RM: Jee, weise aapse bauhat kam mulaqat hoi hai, mei soch raha tha / thi ke is waqt aik meeting schedule kerte ha. | |
| Kese chal raha aapka yahaan experience? How is everything going? | |
| FP: Jee, weise to mujhe 1 month ka hi yahaan time hoa hai, but filhaal tak to experience acha raha. Process abhi tak | |
| comfortable raha hai, yahaan ke employees friendly aur higher management has been okay. | |
| RM: [ Smile ] Sunkar acha laga! Wese aap se mera intro nahi hoa. Mei last month se Beijing mei tha to meet | |
| potential clients, last week hi aya hoon / ai hoon. | |
| FP: Kesi rahi trip? | |
| RM: It was good, mei hope ker raha hoon / ker rahi hoon ke aik do clients se jald meeting hoon, to I'm positive about that. | |
| FP: Sahi sahi. | |
| RM: Wese koi kaam? Kesa ana hoa? | |
| FP: Jee ye reports deni thi. | |
| [ Hands over reports to the RM ] | |
| RM: ye kiya hai? | |
| FP: Abhi jo month guzra hai, ye uski reports | |
| [ RM looks really concerned ] | |
| RM: Ye situation hai for the past month? | |
| FP: Jee, hamare profits kafi down hogai hai starting with the pandemic. Clients kam, demands low, aur phir supply kam. | |
| RM: Mujhe iska andaza tha, magar itna andaza nahi tha. | |
| [ Thori der silence ] | |
| RM: What do you suggest? | |
| FP: The company has been going very good in the last year. Teamwork bhi acha raha, employee selection process bhi acha raha. And mei bhi yahi chahta hoon ke aapki company | |
| bhi jaldi jaldi progress karein. Aur as a employee who has been working in this company for the last month, mera bhi kafi acha experienc raha hai. | |
| But kuch cheezein hamari bas mei nahi hai, aur isme hum log kuch nahi kersekte. | |
| I don't want to joke around, but in my opinion, I think it's best if we shift the focus to understanding that we should approach lay offs as an option. | |
| RM: There has to be something else ... | |
| FP: Jab tak demand hi nahi, supply nahi, aur supply nahi, to revenue nahi, aur nai clients bhi nahi. We have about 4 employees in all, exluding you, me, the HR head. | |
| RM: [ Shifts to stressed out mood ] I don't know what to do now. | |
| FP: Aap soche. Time de isse. I know this is a big decision for you, but consider it, i don't think we have any other options. | |
| RM: Mei sochta hoon. Aap mujhe kal apne saat un 6 employees ki profile likh ker aeiga. | |
| FP: Theek hai. | |
| RM: Kal subha 11 baje timing sahi rahega? | |
| FP: Sure. | |
| RM: Theek, mei HR Lead ko bhi inform kerdeta hoon | |
| FP: Zaroor | |
| RM: Theek hai phir kal milte hain | |
| FP: Chalein okay. | |
| [ FP Leaves ] | |
| RM: [ Calls the HR Lead, asks him/her to bring a portfolio and description of the 4 employees, and informs them about current financial position ] | |
| <!-- Part 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 --> | |
| [ THE NEXT DAY ] | |
| [ RM calls the M once again. The M does not pick up. So, RM leaves the M a voice message ] | |
| [ RM calls in the HR Lead, as 11 approaches, also calls the FP lead ] | |
| [ Both enter at the same time ] | |
| RM: [ Greetings, forward and backward, talks about what they want to discuss today, and see if they can decide on something today ] | |
| RM: [ Asks the HR to start explaining them the situation ] | |
| RM: [ All argue ] | |
| [ Final decision ] | |
| [ All think about how to convey the information ] | |
| [ Some decision is made ] |
