Hi everybody! đź‘‹
waves cheerfully while standing next to a suspicious pile of Redstone
Today we’re gonna learn how to automate the boom-boom method of making that fancy black sparkle stuff—Flux Dust! It’s mysterious! It’s explosive! And best of all—it’s totally safe when you’re standing far, far away!
We'll be using Refined Storage, Modular Routers and Integrated Dynamics to automate the process of making Flux Dust. Here's a list of the materials you'll need:
-
General:
- 1x Flux Block
- 1x Chest (or any storage block)
-
Refined Storage:
- 1x Constructor
- 1x Destructor
- 1x Importer
- 1x Autocrafter
- 1x Stack Upgrade
- Some Cables
-
Modular Routers:
- 2x Modular Router
- 1x Dropper Module
- 1x Vacuum Module
- 1x Sender Module Mk2
- 12x Stack Upgrade
-
Integrated Dynamics:
- 1x Logic Cable
- 1x Player Simulator
- 1x Variable Card
- Place the Flux Block on the ground.
- Place the 2 Modular Routers on the left and right sides of the Flux Block.
- Insert the Dropper Module into the right hand side Modular Router along with 6 of the Stack Upgrades.
- Set the Dropper Module to drop to the left side and Whitelist the Redstone Dust.
- Insert the Vacuum Module into the left hand side Modular Router along with 6 of the Stack Upgrades.
- Set the Vacuum Module to pull from the right side and Whitelist the Flux Dust.
- Place any 2 temporary blocks of your choice above the Flux Block and place the Constructor and Destructor facing into the blocks. Constuctor on top, Destructor on bottom.
- Add Obsidian to the Constructor filter.
- Place the Autocrafter above the right hand side Modular Router facing downwards.
- Create a new processing pattern for the Autocrafter. 64 Redstone Dust = 64 Flux Dust. Place the pattern in the Autocrafter. Ensure the Autocrafter is set to "Lock until all outputs are received".
- Place a chest above the top temporary block and connect it to the Autocrafter with an Importer, add a Stack Upgrade to the Importer.
- Use a Cable to connect the Autocrafter to the Constructor.
- Place the Player Simulator above the left hand side Modular Router facing towards the top temporary block.
- Place a Logic Cable going into the Player Simulator.
You can now remove the temporary blocks.
- Add the Variable Card to the Player Simulator and ensure Right Click is unchecked.
- Take the Sender Module Mk2 and sneak right-click the chest to set it as the target then place it in the left hand side Modular Router.
That's it! Use a Cable or Network Transmitter to connect the system to your RS network and you’re ready to go! You should see an Obsidian block be placed by the Constructor once you do.
You can of course remove the left Modular Router and put all 3 modules in the right hand one. Change Vacuum direction to left side.
I don't know why I'm just thinking of that now! Also, as someone on Reddit said, just use XyCraft Extractor and ignore all this!
