Not only that, but you have to close the editor window, click a checkbox, click send preview, click a list you want to use to generate the email, click the email address you want to use to generate the email, then hit preview to find out that there is a problem.

Also, look into their server-side javascript.

Also, if you aren't paid that well then just change jobs. ExactTarget is fucking awful. It will push useful things out of your brain and replace it with trauma. It will only make you less valuable.
