SFX Maker is a small but powerful program designed to create self-extracting executable archives (SFX). Perfect for packaging applications, SFX Maker makes your projects portable and easy to distribute. With its intuitive interface and customization options, it is the ideal tool for anyone who wants to save time and optimize the management of compressed files, comes in two flavors designed to suit every skill level: one with an advanced interface for expert users looking for maximum control, and another with a simplified, guided interface, ideal for those who prefer a more immediate and intuitive experience.
SFX Maker offers a user interface designed for advanced users for a simple and efficient experience in creating self-extracting archives (SFX). The main screen is divided into intuitive sections for easy setup:
- Content compression: You can choose the source directory of the application you want to package and the destination SFX EXE file to save
- Advanced customization: You can choose a descriptive name for the application that will be compressed in the SFX and the name of the executable that starts the application (only the execution of EXE executables is allowed) (it would also be possible to import a custom .ico icon extracted from the application executable)
- Compression Options: You can encrypt the ZIP file containing your application with a password and adjust the compression level with a slider
Once you have filled in all the fields you can click on "Make SFX" and the SFX creation will start.
SFX Maker also offers a user interface designed for those who prefer a simple and efficient experience in creating self-extracting archives (SFX). The main screen is divided into intuitive sections for easy configuration:
the wizard will offer the same functionality as the complex interface, the simple difference is that everything is in a step-by-step wizard
