Warm-up exercise (email)

  • 3 facts you know about programming
  • What will you do with what you learn?

Warm-up survey (intro)

  • Find 3 people.
  • Write down 1 warm-up answer from each on a sticky note.

Looks like... (install)

  • On sticky notes, answer "What does an engineer look like?"
  • Google #ILookLikeAnEngineer and pick someone cool.
  • Introduce them to the person sitting next to you.

Pass that card (after lunch break)

  • On a card, write a question.
  • Take a card with a question on, and answer it.
  • Take a card with an answer on, and write "agree" or "disagree."

Valuable

  • On your own, write on a card the most valuable thing you've learned today.
  • In groups of 4 or more, discuss your cards.
