Raspbian install PiVPN

Download and running installation script from PiVPN website

curl -L https://install.pivpn.io | bash

Following installation will be like this:

  • PiVPN will warn you it need Static IP
  • Confirm Static IP address
  • Choosing local user
  • Choice pi
  • Installation mode
  • Choose OpenVPN
  • Choose Port for PiVPN using
  • Choose your DNS provider, Google DNS or CloudFlare DNS is recommended
  • Public IP or DNS, Choose public IP
  • Generating server and HMAC keys
  • Unattended upgrades choice, enable is recommended

After Installation successful

It will ask you Reboot your RaspberryPi

How to check PiVPN Service

sudo service openvpn status
