How to install experimental snapshot in Minecraft

  1. Download the given snapshot zip file
  2. Unzip it and place the resulting folder in your .minecraft/versions/version folder

How to find your .minecraft folder

  • Windows: Press Win+R and type %appdata%\.minecraft and press Ok
  • Mac OS X: In the Go menu in Finder, select "Go to Folder" and enter ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
  • Linux: ~/.minecraft or /home/<your username>/.minecraft/

  1. Start the Minecraft launcher and click "Installations" zChJ1cad9M

  2. Select "Modded" in the versions filter to the right 3QPKF22TIM

  3. Click "New Installation" I1TLPdvpqA

  4. Type a name for your installation and select the correct version, the press Create PFGb2YBgRl
