Going through Dev Bootcamp was like being thrown into a furnace. It taught me how resilient I can be, but also how to not let the stress and anxiety of work interfere with working on a team. I learned that whether or not I readily know how to solve a challenge, I can figure out the best path towards a solution.

As a founder of Rise UP, I built the relationships with organizations and mentors to overcome the logistical problems of connecting youth from low-income communities with mentors.

Sought out opportunities where my company could improve the communication and technology to increase a business' efficiency and productivity.
Given the responsibility of organizing public outreach and volunteer coordination accross a 1/4 of the city of Chicago.
Volunteer for a year of service to tutor first grade students on the south side of Chicago. It consisted of work ~70hrs/week as a tutor, mentor, Outreach and Community Coordinator, and Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator for a large scale service event.
Encouraged to work on projects where I had no previous experience, I was able to work on projects that ranged from creating a market strategy and implementation for a company looking to enter the U.S. Wind Turbine market to creating a strategy to create an interdiscplinary major at a major university.
Because I thrived in unknown fields and supported my team, I was promoted from Consultant to Senior Consultant, and then to Project Manager in less than a year.
