Inner City kid with the odds stacked against me. First in the family to go to College. Taught myself how to type. Taught myself how to figure skate. After only 3 years of skating, got paid to travel the world skating professionally.
My life has allowed me to prove to myself that I can do ANYTHING that I put my mind to, and that the positives that come from that hard work may not be visible until they are directly upon you.
After attaining multiple injuries, and finally seeking therapy and medical assistance to heal those injuries at thirty, I began to imagine myself applying my love of languages and my current skillset to the current job market. Software Design was the next step, and a necessary insertion of a person with my identities and perspectives into the STEM workforce fields. Applying the skills of various styles of learning to provide access to learning, and access to resources to the industry of software development. Space, Science, and Technology to better our collective futures.
Resiliance. Input. Responsibility. Strategic.
Consistency, and self-confidence. I’m unapologetic about taking up space, and see myself as someone who is capable of contribution.
Physical well being, and financial health.
