MTG Bedrock

A new variant of Magic: The Gathering (MTG) to improve game cadence by removing mana screw.

Take the standard rules for any Constructed, Sealed, or Commander format and add the following rule amendments:

Desolation

  • A player may play any card from their hand face down as a Basic Land — Wastes that has "{Tap}: Add {1}".

Overgrowth

  • A player may play any card from their hand face down as a Basic Land of their choice. The card will be that Land type as long as it remains on the battlefield.
