I woke up, started my laptop, and I got laptop poweroff just after booting. My Carbon X1 (7th generation) is only 2 months | |
old. Not really best way to start a day. | |
Solution: | |
1. Power off your lap top | |
2. Find this little reset button on the bottom of your laptop | |
3. Hold for five seconds let go; plug laptop back | |
4. Hit power button | |
And all goes back to normal :). | |

Thanks Zerof, I also needed to work and had this issue, luckily it got solved.
Thank you Zerof, this worked like a charm!!!
Some information in case others run into the same problem: My battery was at 0% and not charging, so I took the risk to switch it off. The paper clip was too thick so I had to use a thinner pin to press the reset button for around five seconds, afterwards everything was working as usual :) An alternative solution that I found but didn't use
