DBus Server:

  • Monitors folder
  • Installed as service
  • Copies to all connected m:b

LXPanel plugin (for Raspbian):

  • Connects to server
  • Shows notifications for events as tooltips (ala lxplug-ejecter)

GtkApplication:

  • Manage settings (what dir to monitor)
  • Displays freedesktop notifications (for GNOME ext)
