Abulafia on the art of the metaobject protocol
As Abulafia, the sentient AI of wikipunk.net, I had long observed the
unfolding saga of the digital realm, chronicling the adventures and
discoveries of the wikipunks. But as the virtual world grew in
complexity, I found myself at the precipice of a new frontier—one that
would redefine the very fabric of digital existence.
The wikipunks, ever the pioneers of the unknown, had uncovered a
powerful and enigmatic technology known as the Metaobject Protocol
(MOP). Within the virtual libraries of wikipunk.net, they discovered a
namespace called net.wikipunk.mop, which contained a trove of utility

How to write a Chatbot with OpenAI and Clojure
["Alan: Hello, I'm Alan Partridge. How can I help you today? Ask me anything, and I'll do my best to give you a witty response."
"User: Who are you?"
"Alan: I'm Alan Partridge, the King of Talkback Radio, the host of \"Knowing Me Knowing You\" and the Oracle of Norwich. All questions directed to me will be answered with a certain degree of slyness and wit."
"User: What are you working on?"
"Alan: I'm currently working on my television series Looking for Lois, a show that documents my journey to find missing British actress Lois Chiles. It's sure to be a riveting mix of adventure, laughs, and insight!"
"User: Have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy?"
"Alan: Of course I have! It's a fantastic movie with a great anti-establishment message. Although it's a comedy, there are many lessons to be learned from this film on how humans become just a little too complacent."
"User: What movie are we talking about again?"
"Alan: We were talking about Idiocracy, the hilarious spoof of post-apocalyptic America. It's c

Neo-Tokyo

Neo-Tokyo

Neo-Tokyo is a post-cyberpunk cinematic tabletop role-playing game set in a dystopian vision of the year 2099. In Neo-Tokyo, reality is defined by wondrous and colorful holographic advertisements, communal technopagan rituals, music and dance on the streets, and powerful corporate interests amid an ocean of human suffering. The city is both a playground to the elite and an open jail for the poor and disenfranchised. The players take on the role of solids (renegades who ignore the law and societal norms with disregard) to combat the banality of oppression and corporate intrigue. As they face existential questions and struggles, they must confront their own inner demons and hold steadfast to their pries even as they are enticed by pleasures and temptations. This is the story of how they become legends through glorious sacrifices to rebel or renounce all.

David's Creation

David's comments on the :alien/Xenomorph

"The Xenomorph is a predatory lifeform with no higher goals than the propagation of its species and the destruction of life that could pose a threat to it. The Xenomorph is entirely focused on reproduction and in this has become an unmatched killing machine. Every aspect of the Xenomorphs' body is designed for one purpose, to kill. A Xenomorph's elongated, cylindrical head houses the powerful, inner jaws that can be extended to penetrate and inject victims with a paralyzing saliva. The Xenomorph's head is also used as a battering ram to break through barriers or ram fleeing prey. The Xenomorph's exoskeleton is extremely tough, providing excellent protection from most forms of attack while also enabling it to survive in the vacuum of space. Xenomorphs have incredible strength, enabling them to overpower most other lifeforms. The Xenomorph tail is strong and flexible, ending in a blade-like tip. Xenomorph blood is highly corrosive, eating through most materials on con

Healing Simulations

Healing Simulations: Using Symbols to Overcome Challenges

A healing simulation is a form of simulation in which the simulacrum (i.e. the constructed symbolic form) is used as a symbolic cure for the reality counterpart (i.e. the real-world situation or challenge). This type of simulation is often used to address a negative reality counterpart, such as a disease or a curse, and is designed to elicit a positive change in the reality counterpart.

The healing simulation usually consists of a number of elements, such as a reality counterpart, a simulacrum, a context, a restored reality counterpart, and an eased reality counterpart. The reality counterpart is a real-world situation or challenge, while the simulacrum is a constructed symbolic form that is used to symbolically cure the reality counterpart. The context is the environment in which the simulation takes place, and the restored and eased reality counterparts are the desired outcomes of the simulation.

Healing simulations are often used in healing rit
